Edexcel A2 C3 Mathematics 12th June 2015 watch

1. Death to the time limit! Worked out 8a and she said put your pens down
2. (Original post by Hani1666)
What did you guys get for the values for the rcos question?
51.8 and -25.6, don't know if correct..you?
3. Nice paper!!!
4. What were the coordinates of A?
5. Sooo... Last night I got 64/75 in a timed gold paper which is an a*(apparently).

I categorically have not got that!!! What a horrendous paper. That one with x^2(1-x)e^2x just raped. The secx+tanx was hard and I didn't get the anwar but I reckon I to a few method marks.

As for the differentiation one with 4pi^2, I did that but the numbers were so weird I have no idea whether what I have done was right!

So in conclusion, goodbye Warwick, the dream was good while it lasted.
6. 6 marks for a range question? What are you edexcel.
7. Really nice paper, last 2 questions were a bit poorly worked out though because I was stressed about having 10 minutes left

8. Some questions were difficult. But all was doable. Think I got around 66 minimum.

What were the coordinates of A?
I got (3.1,13.9). how about you?
10. (Original post by Johann von Gauss)
Too easy, although one or two questions were required an infinitesimal amount of thinking to answer.
F*** you you nipple.
11. What were the coordinates of A?!?
12. That was the harshest exam ever... are they serious?!?!?! If I don't get into Nottingham because of that I'll be absolutely heartbroken!!! 1000000x harder than June 2013!!!!

F*** you you nipple.
14. Difficult paper but it went well. Struggled with the sec2x tan2x but got tanx=1/3 after a while and solved from there
15. sec 2A + tan 2A
= 1/cos2A + sin2A/cos2A
= 1+sin2A / cos2A
= cos^2A + sin^2A + 2sinAcosA / cos^2A - sin^2A
= (cosA + sinA)^2 / (cosA + sinA)(cosA - sinA)
= cosA + sinA / cosA - sinA as required

cosA + sinA / cosA - sinA = 1/2
2cosA + 2sinA = cosA - sinA
3sinA = -cosA
tanA = -1/3

I got (3.1,13.9). how about you?
Dude x is supposed to be 0. Because it intersects y
18. What did you get for the function at the last question? Increasing or decreasing?
19. (Original post by Jemy)
You kidding?
Nah. Hard trig proof and question 9 had me tripping a little but got them both. What was hard besides that?
