Nope, reading. = fail :p:

My friend knows a lot of people who are going though, so hopefully someone will take our tent earlier one. As I said, it's only a pop up one so fingers crossed but if not - yay for roads.

Snap! My gf and I are going Southend to Paddington to Reading. We're also both going to Sussex in September, she's also doing Philosophy. Let's have a Sussex meet on the train

taking half a bottle of bacardi, decanted, then buy everything else there! it's too heavy to carry it all, and not worth it when there's so many supermarkets.

I usually take a 2ltr plastic bottle of spirits (decanted), plus 2 x 2ltr bottles of lemonade to mix it with. My boyfriend takes about 30(ish) cans of beer, just for him. Also take a decanted bottle of Mickey Finn's

I think its definately worth taking loads with you; alcohol is the main thing I carry! The shops on site rip you off and you don't want to be wasting time queueing at the festival! xx

This coincidence is unreal

I will probably bring as much cans of beer I can physically carry into my bag.

I take about 100 quid but like to spend some on t shirts and stuff while i'm there. You could survive on 20 quid if you wanted too but if it's your first time i'd reccomend taking atleast 15 quid for each day, you can expect to pay atleast 3.50 for a burger alone, and drinks in the arena are around 3 quid probably going up. Foodwise, crisps, cereal bars, tinned fruit, biscuits, i take cold pizza for the first day (L).
I myself much prefer not taking loads of food and drink and having a lighter bag and less hassle. Have fun!

As I said before:

(Original post by blinkbelle)
I usually take around £100ish for essentials. I allocate around £20ish a day for food, so that's £80. Plus £20 for emergencies. I don't buy alcohol as I take it with me (saving LOTS of money) but depending on my financial situation I might take an extra £100 to spend on clothes/shopping when I'm there.
