VOLUME?? was it volume? because I swear all gases take up 24dm3 in standard conditions so it would be a 1:1 ratio... thats what I wrote anywho.
i think thiss answerr depends on what the question was askin us forr, i think we desperately need the exam paper on here LOL

yh i think
i said because the double bond is rigid therefore it doesnt allow rotation also and its assymmetric

I think it was about why propene produces two products

i said because the double bond is rigid therefore it doesnt allow rotation also that it has different groups on the end of the double bond because its assymmetric
well i got it wrongh because i just put because it has C double bonds

I wrote down ethane and something else i forgot. since the hydrogen attacked the single bond instead of the double bond.

i was feelin very pissed off after the exam coz i felt i flopped a relatively easy test, but im glad other people thought the general stye of this paper was soooo weirdd compared to past papers, it was heavily orientated around the green chemistry part
Yeah, but green chemistrty is a separate topic in unit 2. 'Hubble's things' came on the physics practical and beetroot experiment came on bio 6B.

The way things are going, better get ready for digestive system things in bio unit1.

Isnt it because when C=C breaks, H can go and attach to either the 1st C producing major product 2-bromopropane, or H can attach to the 2nd C producing minor product 1-bromopropane.

im pretty sure its 5:1 cuz it says 4 grams of helium to 4 grams of neon
and helium's atomic mass is 5 times smaller than neon therefore 5 time more atoms?

I probably read the question wrong (AGAIN) but I wrote ^THIS. Two potential places for Br to join hope we're right.
