I just got my results from school and when I opened the envelope in front of my teachers there were a few gasps because my predicted grades were all either a C or a B, I even had a predicted grade of an E for history which really pissed me off. But hey it felt good to show my teachers and other students that predicted grades don't mean ****, and that if you work hard you can achieve all your goals... look at my A* in history! And by the way am I the only person on tsr who got only one A*...it sure seems that way since everyone else has 8 or 9 A*....It's making my results seem bad

    Actual grades:
    Maths-A
Core Science-A, A (literally 3 marks off an A* coursework let me down...)
    English language-B
    English Lit-A
Spanish-A (jut like in science 3 off an A*... -_-)
    ICT-A

    R.E- A
History-A* (aced history got A* in all exams and coursework hehe )

A levels I'm planning on doing: Maths stat, Biology, Chemistry and Economics

Not going to lie but I'm both annoyed at myself and relieved at the same time. I had originally thought that I had done a lot worse so I'm grateful for the results which seem fair considering the minimal amount of revision I did (Reading half the material through in bed with a torch the night before and the other half the next morning XD). But at the same time, I wished I had achieved more A*s... I was hoping around 8A*s... In a school where each year has less than 100 people and 14% get straight A*s with a 100% 5A*-C grades inc. English and Maths... it's hard not to feel disappointed with the results. But I guess I deserve them. Now I know to truly revise in sixth form!

PS. About the negs. Wow you guys really are supportive aren't you? Each person's circumstances and expectations are different and to be critiqued on a person's own thoughts... wow. At least I know what kind of community this is...

Am quite gutted about that B in there and the fact that I could have gotten a lot better on my Biology (only 58 in the ISA - a D!). Quite pleased with Physics though; 100 on both papers and 88 in the ISA.

So happy with Chemistry & Biology -- I can do Biology A-Level thankfully! Very disappointed in Maths as I only went up 4marks in my retake! But I can still do everything I want, plus it's a great grade
