Who did Edexcel A-level Maths this June? If yes, what would you predict you are going to get? Just curious.
I did C3 in January and did really well but I don't think C4 this June went well for me. I thought it was really hard but then the rest of the people in my year came out saying "oh that was alright!" Ouch

I also did Edexcel Further Maths (FP2 and FP3) and that didn't go brilliantly either. FP2 was definitely my better paper though, I didn't leave half of that one blank

So this is what UCAS told me:
Me: Does UCAS send you an email on results day notifying that track has changed or inform applicants that they've been accepted?
UCAS: Hi! You will receive an e-mail from us when your application updates
Me: Thank you. Will this email inform me that my track status has changed or whether I have been accepted?
UCAS: It will just state Track has updated.

I did, however, read that they send you an email informing you whether you have been accepted but I guess there is too much clashing information on the internet. I hope this clarifies matters for you
You're an absolute star, thank you so much!

I'm so confused! I've been told that it is and that it isn't and I just want it all to be over with

UCAS sends the "track status has changed" email as sneha says. Some universities send you an email direct. Not all.

Does anyone know what time UCAS sends you an email/ updates track? I'll definitely be staying up till midnight if it's then but might it be about 9 am? That seems like an official time 😊 Thanks

Not sure about a specific order to say it in. They probably ask you what course you want then your grades then you can go on to say why you want to subject, what makes you suitable and why you like the university.
    Thanks mate.

I can't remember the official time, but it's in the morning, not midnight (around 8am).

Lucky you, C3 is the one that has screwed me over, The June C3 paper was difficult! I did c4 this June as well but I really can't say how it went. I was unable to do the last part of the vector question. Don't worry, I end up feeling that way sometimes but end up with better than expected results so for all you know you could have scored a A* in C4! (Yeah, I like to be optimistic ).

I only did FP1 but that was a while back and I know FP2 and FP3 are much harder. Good luck!

It will be online by "By 8AM" So 6 to 8 AM would be safe. Midnight? Nope.

Erm no I don't think you can expect UCAS to send you an email notifying you that Track has been updated at midnight because Track goes live at 8 a.m on the 15th and even though universities will be receiving our results this weekend they will not be able to communicate their decision with you because Edexcel (and other boards, I suppose) do not release the results until the morning of the 15th.

Am I right in thinking that a week today, our schools/sixth forms will know what we've got? My college always give it away a bit by asking some people to come in early on results day to have their picture taken for the local paper...

Yeah, I heard that the June C3 paper was really bad, maybe a lot of people in my year just thought C4 was better in comparison :dontknow: I just hope I did really well on the parts of the paper I didn't leave out! I would absolutely love to get an A* in maths so I will try to stay optimistic I only need a B in maths though, and I am pretty sure I have achieved that.

Best of luck to you too

I've watched this about 50 times to get my mind off results

Does anybody know how lenient Westminster is? I have an offer of BBC but I'm afraid I may get CCC.

I'm so so so so nervous :afraid:
