I'm single because there's no point rushing into a relationship for the sake of it. I would much rather get on with my life and when the right moment comes meet that special someone.
Pretty much this ^^ Also, probably because I'm quite fussy and even when on nights out in clubs, I'm one of those people who doesn't tend to look around me or actively seek out/approach guys. I tend to just enjoy the time dancing with my friends. According to my friends, I'm very unoblivious to guys' attention so they think this is the issue.

Although according to my dad, he thinks guys who are of average height or above wouldn't look at me in that way because i'm small and would see me more as an innocent little sister who they want to be protective of (I got this speech one night after he'd had a few drinks)

Give the crush a try by a date. If you don't like him, you bring it to an end.
How do I tell him I like him? He asked me who I liked and I didn't answer him properly...

Single because I don't try. But I will attempt to look for potential "bae" when studying (computer science) at uni.
Woo! Computer science for the win!

I'm socially reclusive, unpleasant looking, and too picky.

I feel comfortable being single and I don't really socialise much at the moment. Maybe a uni life might change it. If you feel comfortable OP being single than that is really great and it isn't unusual to feel that way if a person asks.

Ceebs with a relationship. I like the concept but at this moment in time I'm coming to terms with early adulthood, my degree etc.. and besides the guys that I know are immature jerks so if I were to date it'd probably be an older man.

I wouldn't say I'm physically unattractive, but there's always some reason why girls end up not being attracted to me, usually my dominant personality, where they assume I think I'm better than anyone else, when really I'm just tryna be nice

Plus I don't fancy 95% of women (that always counts haha) and I definitely don't fancy girls that talk to more than 5 guys on a daily basis (believe me when I say there is girls who simultaneously lead on like 50 guys and act like it's all normal)

Lol. People ask you that when you're still a kid because they think having a girlfriend makes you cool. Thing is you could be sleeping with loads of girls and not have a girlfriend. So their logic is retarded at best.

I always said "haven't met anyone I like yet"

I remember back in the day when all of the boys were desperately trying to get any girl to be their girlfriend by any means necessary even if they didn't like the girl. Just so they could have sex or get extra street cred lmao. So silly.

I've never understood why it matters. I was once asked if I had a boyfriend and I said no. To which my mum replies "it's called having sense". Say her who married at 23.
    It's called playing the field.

It is easier than you think. Say just the three simple words: 'I like you!' Otherwise make some compliments about his look and come closer.

I've tried, we've spoken but I think he finds me boring.

Then speaking clear words and be honest. Say him what you think. Honesty is still the best way to clear misunderstandings - or to create clarification.
