    It didn't say to write the configuration out, it asked for the highest energy level, which is 4P2 but you'd still get a mark for it

    Everyone in my year said its meant to be energy levels e.g. 2.8.8 etc..

    Also was the configuration 1s^2
    2s^2 2p^6 3s^2 3p^6 3d^10 4p^4
    No it was (Ar) 3d10, 4s2, 4p2
    Ar is everything before 3d10

    That sounds better than my answer
    Really? I'm known for writing nonsense. And yours does sound plausible. It may be one of those with multiple credible answers?

    They might allow it. They asked for the 'main' energy levels (shells).

    I put 2,8,18,4
    Omg that's right, I was trying to figure that out bc it didn't add up to 32

    Just realised you wouldn't get the mark for that because the configuration itself is wrong

    Yeah, or it could say in big capitals in the mark scheme DO NOT ALLOW Adam's answer

    Would they have let me have NO when they asked to name a nitrous oxide ?

    Reforming, yes, hydrogen, yes, you also could have said arenes I believe. I messed up the last q though

    1) Would I get a mark for writing the whole electronic configuration down? I wrote 4p2 in the end
    2) You know the equation of formation for water, would I get a mark if I balanced it like this:

    2H2O ----> 2H2 + O2

    Instead of H2O ----> H2 + 1/2O2

    I put 2.8.18.4 Aw well
    That's correct, they only ask for s,p and d sub-shell notation in F332

    Yeah 4p2 is what they wanted. And that equation is fine

    Did anyone get 138.97 for the gas question? The way I did it was find the number of moles of the 2H2O2 whicu was 90/68 , then multiply it by 1.5 cos the reactant product ratio was 1:1.5 , then times it by 70 because 1 mole occupies 70dm3?
    Its 90/34 as h2O2 is equal to that (34 is the rfm of h202)

    I think there had to be only 1 mole of water, that's what the enthalpy change of formation is, I didn't balance that q though
