Either way, it's more about cabinets than parliaments. It's really not hard to have a diverse cabinet (look at Justin Trudeau's).

But if it has happened before why would it happen now? Its not equality its just choices, if women aren't making those choices that's down to them. We had two female party leaders last election, one winning every seat bar one in Scotland, I would say women are well represented by such examples

What are your thoughts about Julie Bindel (feminist and journalist) wanting to put men in concentration camps?

"I mean, I would actually put them all in some kind of camp where they can all drive around in quad bikes, or bicycles, or white vans. I would give them a choice of vehicles to drive around with, give them no porn, they wouldn't be able to fight – we would have wardens, of course! Women who want to see their sons or male loved ones would be able to go and visit, or take them out like a library book, and then bring them back" - the rest of it can be found here.

Here's a decent commentary video on it...

Some will call her a "Radical Feminist", but she's a Feminist, full stop... Feminists are all the same, some are just more "man-hating" then others.

All men benefit to some extent, most also experience some negatives from it.
'some' negatives... Slyly played down there.

What are these universal benefits exclusive to those born male, exactly?

I would like to catch up on them, as I don't seem to have any benefits due to my sex.

Of course we do, in many cases.

We, as a society, have put women on pedestals.

While that's not a concentration camp, per se, I would agree that what she's saying is totally ridiculous.

Just throwing this out there, do you think if a women hits a man he should allowed (in self defence and with equal force) to hit her back?

Hitting someone, no matter what their sex, is deplorable. I don't think it's smart for a man to hit a woman just by the sense that he is stronger and can deal a lot more damage to her than the other way round.

He can simply push her out the way... I've done it before.

Perhaps not overt ones, but, for example, men have the privilege of the male gaze (you can define how society views women), the privilege of safety (you can be on your own in many places without being scared), the privilege of sexual privacy (women are subject to scrutiny for every sexual action they undertake, men are not (so many gendered slurs revolve around sexuality)) and the privilege of representation (all male characters are, by default, a good representation).
