Hi SimDin, I got the offer directly without that mail. Did you try sending them an email and ask for more clarification? Don't doubt yourself! Better ask them first

Hello  Thank you for your advice, I contacted them today. Still waiting for an answer  Also congratulations  Hopefully we´ll meet next year

Hello everyone !

From what I've gathered, everyone (in Sciences Po as a whole) had to confirm/decline the admission offer by tomorrow, the 15th.

Maybe they are waiting to see how many people decline their offer before accepting new ones ?

Just received an admissible email, but they said it might take until mid-May. Hope it does not take quite that long :K:

Hi guys! I just got the "admissible" email, final decision no later than mid-May!

Well, I got an email too, but it was "non-admissible"... I don't really see what does it mean and I'm pretty sad too because I was sure my application was really good. But yeah... congrats to everyone

So the wait continues... Fingers crossed for both of us!

SimDin: sorry to hear that. I hope you end up at a nice university anyway.

Congratulations, arimi and JacBa! Keep us updated! Things are about to get exciting for both of you.

SimDin, would you mind sharing what the non-admissible email contains? Was it an outright rejection or perhaps they're just asking you to submit more documents to make your application admissible?

Hello, they sent me this:

So basically I have no information why I was not admissible... I sent them an email, asking if they could explain what does "non-admissible" mean (not meeting minimum requirements or if I had any documents missing, etc.) but I still don't have an answer and I am not really sure if I will get one.

Oh, I don't understand French but I really do hope that they will reply. Hopefully this will also serve as a guide to those who will receive non-admissible emails in the future. I just received a reply from the Admissions Office two days after I sent my inquiry so hang in there. What is your profile by the way? Are you fresh out of university or do you have already have years of work experience? What was your bachelors? We applied to the same programme so I'm interested to know.

I'm from Slovakia and I'm in my third year (so I am just finishing undergraduate studies) at university where I study International Relations. I don't have any relevant work experience but on the other side I have very rich volunteering history (Unicef, Greenpeace, Amnesty International, ...) and also I'm member of many student associations. My language skills are good I guess since I have C1 level in French, English and I'm starting to learn Russian and Italian. I wrote a thesis (50 pages) on women rights in Muslim countries and my supervisor wrote me one recommandation. I guess it was a good one since my thesis got me an A. During my university studies I spent one semester in France with Erasmus+ programme. I got help with my personal statement from SciencesPo's student, so I was really satisfied with it. The only problem was my GPA. They asked for 1,5/5 and I got 1,8/5 (1 is the best, 5 is the worst). Also I applied really late (few days before the deadline) and I maybe should be more specific about my future contribution to Sciences Po (for example I mentioned student associations I like but I did not mention the names of courses I would like to take).

I don't know what should I tell you more  If you have any questions feel free to ask.

Sorry to hear that, did you apply for other universities?

Yes, fingers crossed, this will be a really nervous wait :s-smilie:. From what I saw, usually there are 20 days between the acceptance letter and the final decision, so I (sadly) think mid-may is an expectable deadline... For which program did you apply?

Yes, I looked around a bit, and it seems to be quite a standard wait. But at least we have a final deadline now, which is nice.
I applied for International Public Management and one of the Double Degrees. Either of those would be a dream come true! The depth and breadth of specialisations at SciencePo is just so amazing, plus such a prestigious school in such a beautiful city

International security, and yes, same feelings here... It's been love at first sight when, like an year ago, I read the study plan and the concentration options for the first time... Let's hope for the best
Congratulations for all of you who got positive news from Sciences Po - I hope to see all of you very soon, especially for those who got accepted in HRHA !

And I am sorry to hear about those who did not get it :frown: I am quite sure there are other great universities waiting for you ! Good luck!

Hi,

I have followed this forum for a while now and read every bit carefully.

First of all, you guys are amazing, it was truly great information to receive from you.

Second, it seems like most of you here want to follow very liberal masters so I am not sure whether I will fit in. I have not read anyone this year who wanted to apply to the same program.

Anyway, I received an "admissible" email yesterday saying that I will receive an answer no later than mid may. I have also received my admission email for the dual degree I applied to this morning. This is really exciting.

The dual degree is science and environmental policy with Paris VI, which is quite awesome. If people want me to post my profile, I will be happy to. One perk I had is that I had a GPA less than 3.5. They still accepted me so that is cool.

Hi there!

Welcome to the forum!
I'm sure you'll 'fit in' after all, we're all in the same boat that is pre-admission nervousness. Congrats on receiving your offer, you must be chuffed. It sounds like a really cool degree, too  I'll add you to my list of people I've got my fingers crossed for, now haha

Congratulations! Which program did you choose in addition to the dual degree?

Hey yeah, thank you very much. That dual degree is all I wanted. I applied to environmental policy program as well which is only a master in Science Po.

I wasn't about that though since I am graduating with a chemistry major. my ultimate goal is to work around science policy. It just appears that in this day and age, science policy revolves either around medical research, or sustainability.

I am going to accept the offer in the dual degree for Environmental Science and Policy, so I am going to go Paris next year (from Minnesota).

Just received an acceptance email for International Public Management. Over the moon
I found out today I got accepted into HRHA at sciences po! But I also got into Columbia University's human rights MA program! Such a hard decision. I'm from NYC so I would love to experience Paris but should I really turn down Columbia for Sciences Po?? SP is half the price and I already have a MPH so the one year masters mid career program at SP fits me better... but they are both such good schools...
