    1984.
Not like that. I've explained how you are wrong with what socialism actually means and you are wrong with this. In much the same way as the young generation and the EU if a democratic socialist government is formed and maintained then it becomes the norm and people get re-programmed due to society as a whole. That is how different cultures and societies come into being.

You forget that the people that you 1984 are the people in charge, not at the bottom, it only works on the bottom

You forget that that is a work of fiction and fiction=/= reality. To use a fictional book as evidence is like me pointing at Star Wars and saying "the force is real"

Alternatively you look at Cuba, the Soviet Union, China, etc, not that history has been your strong suit. Let's put it more bluntly: the people you need to control the thoughts of are the ones that you can't control the thoughts of.

None of which were socialist or comunist because they have a pyramid of power and a dictator. And you don't 'control the thoughts' of anyone. You give people free will and let the changes in society gradually cause a social shift.

However I see no point in continuing this debate because you are too closed minded to admit that you are wrong.

Will the exit poll be released before 15:30 today?
It didn't even occur to me to release an exit poll to be honest.

The update will be early again and one can be released when voting closes. Hopefully verification will then happen tomorrow and we will have a new MP in place tomorrow evening.

Are we really likely to get many more votes? I can only see one or two more votes happening from now really so woudl it not just be easier to get the verification now and close the poll? People woudl complain less and at the cost of at most 2 votes I think it's worth it. Unless it is extremely close at the top.

The rate of votes has been a bit more than that, and the voting will last the full 7 days and not be cut short.

In the last few days? The vote count has been just over 100 for the past 3 days IIRC.

Was talking about your mention of the referendum because it doesn't apply to us but obviously seeing as you didn't write your own manifesto it doesn't matter.

Where in the manifesto does it say that TSR has left the EU?

Third to last bullet point implies it.

No it does not. It just says that we will seek to get a good trade deal when we leave.

Except that we can't leave this term, the term you are being elected for so either it is deceit by making false promises or by implying that we are leaving. If my Parlimentary lying act had passed I'd be going "he's breaking the law, he's breaking the law arrest him!!!"

The exit poll is as follows:

    george_c00per (Labour): 41
    Birchington (Liberal): 24
    adam9317 (Conservative): 23
    ABoyHasNoName (UKIP): 21
    Aph (Independent): 3

    3 ballots spoilt

I have asked that the CT now verify these results and an amended result will hopefully be provided tomorrow evening.
