How did you find out the percentage of people that miss their offers for your subject?
    http://www.undergraduate.study.cam.a...ply/statistics
    Offers v Acceptances

Although not all students take up their Offers so we can't assume the difference vs Acceptances are all due to missed offers.

To be fair, with the amount of difficulty and hassle there is to get a Cambridge offer, the vast, vast majority of people aren't going to give that up. Early deadline means you have to commit to it early

Youd be surprised actually, I know one girl in the year above who turned down a Cambridge offer and then 2 in my year, seeing as my school get about 5 Cambridge offers per year thats quite a high percentage, so I whilst its not the norm I don't think its that unusual to choose to go somewhere else

    Finished my exams today too.

    A-Levels were fine, pretty straight-forward.

Hoping for SS1 in STEP (could scrape/be lower), messed up III horrifically by not choosing the easiest questions, but it should be enough to get in .

oh wow, that's late!! Will they confirm my offer before the 13th if I get my grades earlier (on Friday), or do I have to wait for information until August?

As you're going via NatSci when do you have to finally decide? First term or later?

Anybody from St John's doing English just got their reading list?
I have no idea how in depth our notes should be. Any ideas?
