Yes, it doesnt matter whether you approach from LHS or RHS, as long as you prove it.

Naa. there is no asymptote becuase the unreflected parof the graph goes through y=5. an asymptote is where a curve does not intersent but gets closes to it so yh

It is an asymptote, and you still needed to draw and label it.

Yep, got the exact same answers as you! except for the f(x) for the cubic. I don't remember getting negatives

although for the last part of the last question, I differentiated again and showed that the second derivative is greater than 0, therefore it's a decreasing function

I did that last year and it's honestly the best decision! The year goes so quickly you appreciate going to uni more you mature and you solidify your maths knowledge

So many of my friends rushed into clearing and hate their unis resitting honestly isn't as bad as everyone makes out x

An asymptote isn't necessarily something that it doesn't pass through - lines can intersect asymptotes so y=5 was still an asymptote as it tended towards that in the negative bit

extremely hard but think I've done well.
