Not a bad exam at all! Last question was a little tricky. For the question which asks for your answer in terms of ln2, did anyone get a quadratic in terms of ln2?
yes! what did you get?
2. (Original post by Ripper Phoenix)
i didnt even finish some parts! like 2 parts!
i even didn't have time to read the question.. the one of finiding t ...i didn't even knw the population was in 1000
3. (Original post by DesignPredator)
I got 0.473
I also got 0.473

is integrating a^x even on the spec?
Yeah I think it is because it came up in Jan 2013 as well
5. Where are you ARSEY! We neeeed youuuuu
6. (Original post by Jasmine:)))))
Yeah~
Isn't it just 32ln2 - 12
7. For the last question I got pi*(13 ln(3)-27)/ln(3)... what did everyone get for the X co-ordinate of Q?
8. 7.46 for length of shortest distance ??
9. I got 31.82 for angle and something like 7.46 for the length, basically 10root2 times the sine of the angle
10. (Original post by sofied)
yes! what did you get?
Can't remember the whole thing but it started with 32(ln2)^2

I sincerely hope that you represent the minority, but I am getting the sneaky suspicion this was an "ok paper"
Well I'm doing Further Maths and STEP if that helps... So maybe I'm not the best person to ask...
I can see people struggling with the last question but I honestly did think, apart from that one, it was an "ok paper".
I'd say C3 was more challenging compared to an average C3 paper, than this was challenging compared to an average C4 paper (if you get what I mean).

For Q6 b) was it 4pi/3 + 2root3/4
What was 6b?
13. Damn C4, you could've taken me out to dinner before ****ing me.

Guys. I couldn't solve the one where P is 4000. My Sin2t was over 1....
P was 4 because P was the population in thousands.
18. (Original post by Neilg99)
Isn't it just 32ln2 - 12
nope, there was a 32(ln2)^2 for sure.
19. Was there a mistake on the paper? Question 7c in particular - you had to find the time at which the population exceeded 4000.

I got 32(ln2)^2 -32ln2 +12 or something like that, sound familiar?
