I failed on the ballot. I'm so far down I don't get a choice. Either my friends manage to fend off people in our two houses or I'll just have to get a scholar's room

Only, got 4 hours sleep last night, only going to get 4 hours sleep tonight because of revision.

Hmmm, my reasoning is that if I fail I deserve to fail. Secondly, I should be thinking logically and systematically, so it shouldn't matter what state I'm in. Lastly, hmmm might even stay up the whole night.

P.S. I haven't even started thinking about accommodation for next year.

How does your accommodation work?

Everyone in Durham is currently house-crazy. "GET NERVOUS" should be the letting agents' slogan.

We have a ballot: list of names of people in the year. Each week the next few people can choose their accommodation from what's left over. Unfortunately, I am right at the bottom so I will be given "whatever is left over".

If you get a first though, you are a "scholar" and you can take one of the (nicer) rooms set aside for them.

Don't start getting stressed about houses yet- each of the three times we waited until May and got a good place each time.

Pfft, your lacking there.

It was a standard ok exam, trickier numbers though than usual. but NO LAGRANGE MULTIPLIER! and the choice questions were the typical "i can half of each q" so which one do I choose!

So not expecting a good grade at all. Just hoping for the pass now! And it may be a close call after that exam.

Disregarding that, BRING ON TONIGHT! utd v city Perfect celebration

Ooh, I'm living there too. Where abouts? Our house is one door down from a little "Costcutters" which is good, because I always seem to run out of food. (Although the name is a massive lie.)
