    loooool thank you
do you think I should bother applying to QMUL or not?
Well, on the website they use UKCAT and tariff in 50/50 weighting and on average last year UKCAT was around 1750 for lowest offer?
"The top and bottom UKCAT scores for School Leavers that received offers for
interview were 3,410 (2380-2680) and 2,350 (1760)." This is what they said and link http://www.smd.qmul.ac.uk/assets/cou...ions-cycle.pdf
Website also says UKCAT in third decile or above which is around 2410 or above? which is 602.5 I believe, but yeah go for it I think you've got a shot there UKCAT wise!

Which unis put a lot of emphasis on ukcat?
I got an average around 650 which I know is not amazing, I would quite like to go to Newcastle, but how likely am I to get in with that? (you can be honest!)
    Thankyou

To get the Kaplan mocks, do you have to buy the course or can you buy them seperately?

    Hi,

I did my UKCAT and I got a 733 average which I am quite pleased with. However, I did get 590 on the verbal reasoning section. Does this cause me any disadvantage when applying to medicine at any universities? Do any universities look at the section scores separately?

I want to apply to King's College London, do you think an average of 733 (with a 590 in VR) is okay for me to do that?

I got 1,840 in Kaplan 3 but that was a good few weeks ago. I thought the QR on the first Medify was really hard and that dragged my score down to 2,120 (706.7 average). Is Medify 2 easier?

I actually thought Medify 2 was harder, but I somehow got a higher score. Kaplan 3 has really dented my confidence though.

Just did my first medify, got 650/630/730/band 2 in medify 1. On VR, sometimes, i dont even look at the passages, because im running out of time. Any help on those? And in QR, using the keyboard button for divide opens up a quick find thing. does this happen in real one too?

    Thanks!

For Medify I didn't look at the passages, just the statements and then scanned through the text to see if I got it right. If so I'd move on. If not I'd click another and move straight on. Sometimes I saw one of the other statements and clicked then moved on. It's all about making the brutal decision to move on if you don't get it. Some people prefer to do the first 30 thoroughly and then guess the last 14 but I think that gives you a bigger risk of losing more marks (the final question may be much more straight forward)

    When is your exam?

Firstly, thank you ever so much for reading this. I sat the UKCAT earlier today and got the following:

    VR: 680
    QR: 850
    AR: 670
    SJ: Band 1
    Average: 733

How competitive a score is this in relation to others and what universities would most favour it? Also how much do universities look at the situational judgement?

    Thanks again...

That is a fantastic score. You will be able to apply to most places with it! Just check uni cut off scores / past UKCAT scores which will be on their website which will give you a rough guide of how good your score is for each particular uni, but I'm sure you really will do great!

Tomorrow, lol. But its at 5.30. What about the QR question on shortcuts? does the divide button works?
