Are any members of TSR Labour members of the real life party?
Yes, I'm in young Labour, even though I don't agree with all the policies they give.

For those who aren't, its a great way to get involved - they have lots of events across the country, and even if you are under 18, you still get to vote in the Labour Primaries for General Executive Committee and Police Commissioner etc. I just expected membership to be passive but they actually send huge candidate booklets for you to read and choose from in order to represent Labour on a national level. Even big names in there like Livingstone and Prescott in there too!

I don't know about the other parties, but I imagine its similar to the Labour party. Thoroughly recommend joining a political party if you are into politics

I'm a member of Young Labour, and I spent a two week shift working as an assistant to Kerry McCarthy at Westminster, so yeah.

What NEC candidates did you vote for?

I did the same for Tony Lloyd. One week in the constituency, another in London. A hoot. Did you vote in the NEC elections? If so, Progress or Grassroots?

I haven't voted yet, as I haven't had time to look through the candidate booklet properly - I feel that I should give the candidates the justice of being properly looked at first

Which politician would the TSR Labour group wish to send into the Big Brother house?

Congratulations to RoryS. A great member of the Labour party though we go from agreeing on everything one minute to being opposed to each other the next.

Half of parties have a triple leadership structure. Cons have Leader/Dept./Chairman, Socialists have C1/Dept./C2, we're now on 3 as well.

I assume also that this is purely temporary as well. Once you return, will Labour revert to two leadership positions?

We have just ruled it out because of the concern about responsibilities

We'll see how it goes. Having a Joint Deputy Leadership could be nice.

They're each a different role though. The Chairman isn't the 'reserve deputy leader' or vice versa.

Thank you TopHat I think David decided that there was no reserve in my title so I'm just another Deputy Leader I think.
