    omg I didn't remember to put p as 4 instead of 4000 so I kept redoing the last part of question 7 as I kept getting a maths error so I ended up not doing question 8 that's my A* gone

    There are a couple of way of doing it but my way involved sin. You may have used tan or sin depending on which method you employed.

    I did that :/ does the perpendicular bit have to be FROM line 2 or is it from line one of you get what I mean

    No you got your integration and differentiation the wrong way round

    LnX differentiates to 1/x not the other way round
