Anyone else from 2066/15 waiting on formal
    Offer?
Yeh me. Most of you lot interviewed in August whereas me and MrsInicholson (if you're from the 2066/15 campaign) had our interviews last year in November!! Then got put on reserve list and then got email May this year to ask if we were still interested in the role as their are now available places. This recruitment process is by far the worst I've ever come across. And I've still not received a formal offer or start date

Well, I had a missed call from a 01895 number last week and I just knew it would be about these jobs so I rang back and it rang out. Presuming they would ring me back (hahaha), I waited until yesterday to try again. It was HMRC (I thought Manpower were handling this?) advising that I need to produce my documents again but there's no more appointments to do this and they don't know when there will be anymore!

    That's shocking .
I don't understand why they start a new campaign when there are still so many waiting from previous campaigns

Did the number end in 57? I also had a missed called from an 01895 number and did my usual trick of googling it to see if it was a spam number, it had a few reports of being a telemarketer so I never rang back. But now I'm thinking it could have been hmrc.

How long have the DBS checks been taking for everyone, from completion of the online form to receiving your certificates?

I think we all need to be emailing them to find out information. They need to know our frustration and understand that we need regular updates.

I emailed them yesterday and am waiting on a response. If they could just create some realistic timescales and stick to them, that would be great! Even if they tell us that we will get our formal offers in January! It's better than keeping us in the dark!

They're going to avoid time scales at all costs, wouldn't make sense for them to set soft deadlines if there a risk of failure

Also they simply don't know a deadline. It comes from above them, where someone literally says they need 10 people in Office Y.

No 204582. I thought it might be a telemarketer but rang back because I am waiting on this job.

Yeah employers like HMRC tend to send them off in batches.

Cheers I rang back and it was disconnected. Funnily enough they rang me from an 0300 number today! Taking docs in tomorrow.

I think that's why I have to take my documents back in I now have a bank letter about changing interest rates because that one was sent through the post. Technically, according to the ID flowchart, you need one thing from each group so a passport, a payslip with your NI number and your driving licence should be sufficient
