Based
• on the comments of reputable users,
polling (and allowing for skew)

I am estimating 58/75 for 80UMS
An attempt to lighten the situation for many? xD

how come?
It does. Get a D this year and top A* next year doubt you'll get more than a B overall

im sorry but that was the worst C2 paper i have ever seen in my life? Edexcel what are you playing at?! You complain that not enough people do maths and few people get good grades well im sorry but if you pull that paper out nobody is going to take maths and the people who do arent going to get the grades!
cheer up dude, that's life I have a feeling that the papers are getting harder and harder because people are getting smarter and smarter. There are always people who find the papers easy and people who don't. Urgh. Let's hope the S1 D1 M1 papers will be better.

yeo sorry that is what i got the gradient of the radius line was -3 and then the gradient of the tangent was 1/3
how many marks was to find the equation of the circle in part a? i got my co-rodinates correct, but i got my radius as 40. i didn't put 20.

Need 90% average in c3/c4 for an A*. Along with 480/600 UMS overall.
Yeah but you also need an A at AS, which is 80%, so you would need to do good enough in C2 to get that.

how did people do the first part of the last question?
First I drew a cylinder to make it easier for me. Volume = 75pi
75pi = pi r^2 times y
y= 75pi/pi r^2
y=75/r^2

surface area = 3(2pi.r^2) + 2(pi2ry)
=6pi r^2 + 4pi ry
=6pi r^2 + 4pi r(75/r^2)
=6pi r^2 + 300pi/r
From what i remember

10. Has anyone done any exams which are from OCR? What did you lot think about the papers - easier or harder than general? ( I have ocr f211 bio tmrw and f321 chem on Friday)..
Personally I think edexcel have been ridiculous this year and AQA have been total babes! I just want to know about OCR now..

i got 1/3
I got -0.5
16. some ho's above me are worrying me, they got 1/3 as the gradient
17. It's goodbye to all the Russell group university's that I wanted to apply for since I'm probably gonna get 4 b's at AS and no A's . Surely, they should lower their entry requirements based on this years harder set of exams, especially in the maths and sciences
18. I did everrrrrrrrrrrry single past paper question from 2006- jan 2015 and this paper was ONE OF THE WORST C2 PAPERS EVEEEEEEEEEER!! f*** you edexcel.
