Another thing i thought of is that not everyone who is on the front page is still posting on TSR, so a few of them might also have been rejected/offered places.

What might be helpful is if someone compiles a list of when everyone applied, and someone else compiles a list of "gathered pile" people. Any volunteers?

Does anyone know where i can find the page which lists all the different functions ( I forgot what they are called) like the spoiler guide etc?

EDIT: Never mind, got it.

I was something that they sent out a few days (weeks to some?)ago to people telling them that they will have to wait until after Jan. 15th to receive their decision.

Why have people started calling it gathered pile rather than shortlist?? Just makes it even more confusing now!

haha... yea...

so if you haven't received the dreaded answer or the gather pile there is a high chance for an offer?

hmmm i think that seeing as relatively few people were rejected on 05/12, we may see another rejection day before christmas... don't mean to dampen spirits, , just speculation

gather field emails is the REAL NAME in LSE's website
shortlist is another format which implies an advantage whereas gather field is just neutral

as u can see in 2008's thread, not many people are being rejected on 1st week of DEC. so next week is very likely to be offers

Is it not strange that already half of the applicants on TSR for Government and Economics have been rejected? What does that mean for those who haven't heard yet?
