We wouldn't score if it was 80.

What I would say is that although it was ridiculously lucky, we wouldn't have scored if Origi didn't get back up and take the advantage

Some players would've stayed down and taken the free kick in a good area.

I'm disappointed we couldn't win but at least we got a point. Not too bad considering United and Tottenham lost.

Spurs lost to Newcastle so at least there is a silver lining in all of this. Really need to start grabbing the 3 points and binning Mignolet and improving set piece defending would go a way towards that.

5 points off 4th place isn't too bad at this stage, still a long way to go this season. We were at a much worse position last season and still contended for 4th place.

Well that's it. All we can do is look for the positives.
Although if we had won our last 2 relatively easy games, we would be level with United :/

Trying not to think about that though.

8 did seem a bit much but Lovren's injury was a major contribution to that, looked pretty nasty, hope he's okay.

You know that if we had Utd would have too. Sadly doesn't work like that

Tbh even if we end up 5th this season it's not the end of the world considering we had a manager change and the players had to adapt etc. I'm sure Klopp can get us challenging for 4th, hopefully a few additions in January (namely a keeper) would go a long way. Still 22 games left and I'm sure there'll be more upsets along the way for the top 5/6 teams. 5 points can easily be made up during the xmas/new year period.

Same can be applied to United though, they could have been in a very comfortable position in top 4 if they won their games. Just need to accept it and move on, still a long ways to go yet, 5 points of 4th place isn't bad at this stage, we were in a much worse position last season.
