My second place is probably one of the most peaceful place I've ever visited. It's a small ski village in Switzerland called Grindenwald near Interlaken. As you can imagine with Switzerland it hold beauty and scenery unparalleled in Europe. My camera doesn't do it justice though.

Yeah, the Monch and Jungfrau are to the right. Like i said my camera just doesnt do the scene justice, astonishing. That was taken at Mannlichen after a cable car journey up there.

There's some lovely pictures up in this thread.

I feel bad since mine were taken on an iphone or a HTC Desire so lack in the awesome quality of other peoples.

Luckily TSR is giving away a new Nikon J3 Camera over in this thread.

All you have to do is write up the expereince of one of your holidays in the wiki and at the end of next month TSR will pick the most itneresting to win a free camera.

The greatest city in the world (in my opinion, anyway). The view across the Bosphorus at night is magnificent.

But the view from Delphi is probably the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. It's even better at twilight. Pictures cannot capture how breathtaking it is.

Istanbul's pretty if you're a tourist only there for a short time but when you actually have to live in it... It's literally a cesspool.
