Considering I'm at a failing suburban state comp where only about 40% get 5 A*-C's, I am elated with this. We are in the bottom quintile for science in the country, and I got 5 science exams at 100 % UMS. So funny as I know so many posh families and kids who go to private schools and I'm from a working class background and got this Whoop whoop.

Predicted grades: 10A* 2A (IGCSEs except Addmath GCSE and Classiv)and an A in fmsq
    subjects taken:
    math
FMSQ additional math and CCEA GCSE additional math (self taught)
    english x 2
    science x 3
    history
    geography
classiv (1 hour a week subject outside school)
    french
    design systems and control
Actual grades: 10A* 2A and an A in FMSQ
Comments:...I'll probably get the prediction but not sure about english language... I got the first one marker wrong
though other than that it was okay. As long as I do not go down a grade boundary in more than 2 subjects(2As) I will be satisfied.
What are you going to study for Alevels/Btechs/IB:... IB: SL: Econ, Eng, French, Add Math HL: Math, Chem, Bio. I am also doing AS economics (and maybe maths) and SAT subject test math 1 and 2 and maybe step if I am any good at math. (I will probably drop my 7th IB half way). For IB we do theory of knowledge and an extended essay(for which economics will be my focus). French will be a pain so I am starting now
. (I)GCSEs were not too strenuous but I think next year will be a lot harder(especially the damn languages)

Really pleased and happy with what I got. I can't complain about getting a B in English Lit though- I guess some people have their strengths and weaknesses. Good luck to everyone else who got their results too- i hope you all get the grades that you expected :-)

I am over the moon with the results from resitting my maths and English Language this year. It's such a relief to know that my hard work has eventually paid off and that short of something happening, I will not have to re take them again. Considering the maths papers were hard, I'm surprised I achieved a B as I was expecting to only just scrape a C. Overall I am really pleased with my results even though they're not A or A*

    What next?

BTEC National Extended Diploma for I.T Practitioners (Level 3) at Coleg Cambria, then possibly progress to university to study a degree in creative media computing. My dream is to become a web designer/developer.

Comments: I'm pretty disappointed with my sciences- weirdly, I only studied Chemistry for a year vs. two years for Physics and Biology. Overall I think I did decently, but not particularly well. Could have done a lot better.
What are you going to study for Alevels/Btechs/IB: History of Art, History, English, Art, Chemistry, Extended Project. I might drop Chemistry or History of Art, haven't decided yet.
