    A2 results (all CCEA):

    Maths: predicted A/ achieved A*
Further Maths: no official prediction but the teacher wanted me to get at least an A/ achieved A*
    Physics: predicted A/ achieved A*
    Geography: predicted A/ achieved C

Firm offer: QUB AAA/A* (maths) AB for theoretical physics

    Comments and reactions:
I'm ecstatic! I worked hard for the A* in further maths and I'm so happy I got it. I'm not fussed about geography because I didn't like it this year and I didn't have the best exams for it. Only thing left now is to decide whether I'd prefer to do maths or physics at uni but I'll decide in September/October after I've seen what they're both like.

I'm not too disappointed. There's always room for improvement. These results were for AS.

AS English Literature and Language A: predicted low C / achieved high B.
Firm offer: Colchester Institute provided a C grade or above.

    Comments and reactions: I am seriously so relieved. I only took an AS Level for something to do, and was worried when I received a conditional offer from Colchester (I had applied stating my current knowledge /ongoing business venture as a source of my knowledge, considering my lack of formal qualifications)... I could've cried when I saw my results and that I had been accepted. ;_;

    - Computing: A

    Firmed: King's College London K60 G4NG
Insurance: Queen Mary, University of London Q50 GG41

Comments: Accepted at Queen Mary for G400 instead due to not meeting grade requirements. I did all this privately in 6 months believe it or not!!! The further maths B was down to running out of time for learning mechanics - flunked paper 2 but got 90+ on paper 1. *didn't have enough time to learn all the physics modules so I aimed for 60+% which was an A on the grade thresholds for 2012!! I took Cambridge International Examinations.

    Further Maths: B (predicted B)
Psychology C (predicted B, damn, but it's irrelevant to Physics)

Firm offer if received: A*AB/AAA for Physics at Sussex (A*AA for scholarship :/)

Insurance offer if received: AAB for Physics at Surrey

    Comments and Reactions:
I am seriously overjoyed with an A* in maths! Was 10 UMS off an A in Further Maths but I got my place unconditionally at Sussex so I am happy. I didn't select firm/insurance based on grade requirements, but based on what I wanted and I got it. I wouldn't trade my A* in maths for 4 straight As. I got the full spectrum of the high grades

Very surprised with my A in French, resat for the third time having had C's the previous two sessions so I really feel like I pulled it out the bag. Was 3 marks off A* in Geography, so I am getting the paper back and may get it remarked.

    AS-Level Grades: [Predicted] Actual

    Applied ICT-[B] B
    Chemistry-[E] B
    Economics-[B/C] C
    Mathematics-[C] D

    Comments:
In some way I am glad I got these results especially in Chem, my teachers seemed to hate me and proved them wrong by a lot :-), ICT grade became stronger during moderation, economics i am slighty glad with because i spent a weekend revising for unit 1 and got a B, revised a day for unit 2 and got a D, in maths slighty upset for C1 but alright grade for 2 weeks revision in each module.
Am going to be actually serious this year and start revising maths tomorrow and now fully motivated
