I know you didn't ask me, but I'm awake so why not!
I stuck to the IMDB top 250 only otherwise I'd be here all day

    The Lives Of Others
    Life Is Beautiful
    The Pianist
    Inglorious Basterds
    Downfall
    Back To The Future
    The Big Lebowski
    Into The Wild
    The Prestige
    There Will Be Blood

Either because they were just such incredibly well made, moving, thoughtful, or beautiful films - or just brilliantly entertaining! And yes I do have a bit of a fascination with WWII - couldn't pick both The Pianist and Schindlers List though!
I've no idea what my top 10 is, I'd struggle to agree a top 100, but those three would certainly be contenders in my 'top something'.

Personally? I'm a weird guy and am a giant Will Smith and love independence day even though it's stupid.

Also love butterfly effect as well. Those are my top two personally probably. I know they're not 'good films' but I enjoy them.

No idea on the test right now. You?
Ah, a bit of a man crush? lol
To be fair, his stuff is pretty good. Sort of brings his personality to all his things which makes it a feel good thing to watch.
I have to admit I both like and hate the butterfly effect... its just so, outright depressing! rather hyperbole too, but I sort of like that about it.

If I had to choose 2, it would probably be The Dark Knight... something I can watch countless times, and probably the first star wars just because I loved it so much as a kid and its still awesome.

Good list! I can't really remember The Big Lebowski or The Prestige very well... will have to rewatch. I was interested in watching Into the Wild too, looked nice.

Not seen a few of those! There Will Be Blood got great reviews!
The Pianist is beautiful That and downfall along with Schindlers are like the WW2 trio. Why the war obsession? lol

I agree as someone else said, its crazy hard to put down a favourite 10!

Tbh inception is a pretty awesome film. I'm expecting it to make the overall semi finals here before losing to shawshank.

Just had a quick check and the films with the closest votes are....

Casablanca V Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (7 votes in it)

12 Angry Men V The Green Mile (10 votes in it)

Saving Private Ryan V The Pianist (12 votes in it)

It's a Wonderful Life V Singin' in the Rain (14 votes in it)

Terminator 2: Judgement Day V 2001: A Space Odyssey (14 votes in it and somehow Arnie is beating the mighty Kubrick. )

One Flew over the Cuckoo's Next V American History X (15 votes in it)

And the votes with fewest comments/discussion are...

The Good, the Bad and the Ugly V Paths of Glory (Only reply, by me )

It's a Wonderful Life V Singin' in the Rain (Only 5 replies )

12 Angry Men V The Green Mile (6 replies which for a showdown like this is crazy... )

And we have a new grand champion or least films watched!

    Which two?

I would guess Lion King and Finding Nemo.

I'd never heard of it before this! Possibly when it's on TV, because I doubt I am going to like it much.

When people publish '100' lists, I've usually seen around 98 of them, including '100 worst'...

'The Avengers' was already taken in the UK, being the dreadful re-boot of the 60's TV series, with Uma Thurman et al.

Not having seen 'Avengers Assemble' is no great loss, IMO.
