I'm hoping so! Although I think we will most likely hear after other unis have given their offers out

They said we'd all be reviewed at the end of this month, plus I think a lot of applicants may be waiting on offers from universities that will also be giving them at the end of March/beginning of April, they can't firm until then

Hi, if you don't mind me asking how are you going to fund your undergrad degree?

Hello
Well as my first degree is also at Newcastle I get 20% off my fees as I'm "alumni" so that makes it £7,200 a year.
You can still get a roughly £3000 maintenance loan from student finance (although as I'll be living at home I will put this toward my fees) so that's about £4200 a year.
As for that my parents have agreed to pay £2100 a year if I also pay £2100 a year. I've had 3 jobs while doing my first degree so I have my share saved up already.
It is going to be a struggle especially if I want to live away from home in later years but I guess I'll just keep working and keep saving!

thank you! I knew that 20% fee discount was available to newcastle graduates but was unaware of being able to apply for a maintenance loan. Do you know if you are eligible to apply for maintenance grants as a postgrad on an undergrad course?

I don't know I'm afraid, I've never been able to qualify for any grants in the past so haven't really looked into it.
Are you going to be living out or commuting?

Liberty plaza is my first choice and then Castle Leazes, The View and finally Vic Halls. Have to give 10 choices so I just filled random ones in for the rest including the premium rooms. Sent my choices off yesterday! Just like the proximity of the first three
