Haha yup! Indeed, I was listening to a song earlier (can't remember the name) and he was talking about "self doubt and selfism" which I found quite interesting and I guess inspiring at the same time because of the link to his personal life

Ahhh much inspiration! Thanks for that - I really do like that one :yep:

    Haha, indeed I know
    Ohh wow! Haha

I suppose if people just use it for office use, such as Word, Outlook etc... or possibly have 1 or 2 internet tabs open (i.e. nothing too demanding), then it'll be ok for them. But anything reasonably demanding, and the laptops cooks itself.
Can't play games on it as it will cook itself and shut off within 10 minutes
Can't run a McAfee Full System Scan as that will eat up CPU power and eventually shut the thing down due to getting excessively hot (shuts down at 105'C)
Can't run Windows Movie Maker very well - importing a file that is not compatible with Movie Maker will result in having to convert it to something that works in Movie Maker, and as such takes up valuable CPU power. Depending on the size of the file will depend if it makes it in one go, or has to be put to sleep every few minutes to avoid shutting down. And you can't save things in HD on Movie Maker on the Aspire 5742 - that will cause the CPU to be fully utilized and the thing will shut down if you don't keep putting it into standby every few minutes.

Aww, thanks - blue for me :yep:
    DAMN
how tf do u survive/tsr/live?I will hurry up with that blue laptop order Monsieur, can I get you any side dishes for you as well? A complimentary blue wireless mouse? A scanner? A printer? What can I do to minimise the pain of your current one :erm:
