What's everyone's predictions for sleep, gender or aggression?
I feel like aggression will be a biological/genetic one, because that's my worst one lol. I'm hoping for social psychological explanations though. Or maybe institutionalisation, but I feel like that came up recently so I doubt it.

If they ask you to talk about group displays, you have to talk about that. But the examples you use are your choice (e.g. sports, warfare, etc. )
    Oh I know that
I thought the other user was referring to how I answered the girl (the one that confused relationships and aggression) I thought he/she was saying I was wrong

What's everyone's predictions for sleep, gender or aggression?
Gender will be roles of genes and hormones But if aggression is about genetics or hormones then gender will probably be about evolutionary explanations since I doubt they would put gender and aggression on similar topics

I'm working on making acronyms to help me remember the names of the theorists, so I'll probably be learning those and hoping the actual writing of it comes naturally.

If a question states "Discuss research into Bruce and Young's model of face recognition" would I get any marks for outlining the model??

    Definitely think
    Gender & Aggression
One will be hormones/genes/neural and the other will be evolutionary...

What time do you have the exam? If it's in the morning I would recommend getting more sleep and eating breakfast, then perhaps skimming over notes before the exam.

Guys, would you miss an exam that is language (its an extra) to have extra time for psych?

For the person asking what we're doing on the Wednesday: I am planning to not go to a morning exam and have extra time for psych.

If I forget the name of the researcher, can i put 'Research has shown that..' would i still get all the marks?? Also, If i forget or have a memory block and forget what to put, is it a good idea to make up evaluation points and make up studies? Because if i put, 'Research has shown that..' and make up some figures etc they can't really check if its true or false so would be forced to give me the marks right??

I asked my teacher about this first bit today, she said it's better to put the researcher, but if you really can't remember it you will still get marks for making the points but you just might not get full marks as it is less in depth.

Also I wouldn't suggest making up studies/figures. They aren't forced to do anything, and will be able to check, and will probably easily see through something faked. A poorly recollected study where you only remember that it vaguely happened that is known the the examiner will probably do better than a fleshed out, clearly fake study.

Personally I wouldn't, because I don't feel like the extra time would be worth it in terms of cramming not being the best and sometimes making things worse depending on the person. I'd say go to the exam and at the very least get your head in an exam sort of zone so that when you get to psych you can focus on the exam rather than any lingering stress about the fact you have an exam.

But it's mostly personal preference, and if you really don't want to do the language and you know the cramming will help, it's worth considering.

HEY guys, is it necessary to get studies from different sources, i.e. the internet or more than 1 textbook? and also what the average number of case studies you would need to know for each topic?

I know Loopas predictions for Aggression, Relationships and Gender, but what does everyone else think is the most likely out of his predictions? He's predicted a lot, can anyone narrow this down? Thanks in advance

What are his predictions for the first two?

I'm feeling like there will be biological/evolutionary for aggression, and breakdown maybe for relationships considering everyone is dreaming about it lol.

Hey, has anyone got any example essays for depression and addiction that they wouldn't mind sharing with me? We've not really had much help with our teaching this year due to having non-specialist teachers and I've struggled to find any really good ones online that I could use as a basis to construct some to learn for next week....ahh!! Any help would be appreciated, thanks!!!
