Original Choise and predictions??? Why would they matter and how are they MENT to look at your reference when it's all over your phone
As soon as you give your clearing number or UCAS id (or surname and the first line of your address) then a university can access your entire application. They might not look at everything (although everywhere I've worked part of the telephone script required checking the application was complete). Not every university will make offers over the phone most will send an email through with the offer details on.

There is a route that can be used to avoid a UCAS reference (but usually you would still need to provide a reference directly) called an RPA but universities are only supposed to use those for non uk students and even then some universities won't take them. That's why a conversation pre application if you're struggling to get a reference is helpful.

Oh god I'm not too sure! A lot of people have said that, if you check track and you hadn't got in, then you would be able to prepare yourself a lot more :/ But I'm not too sure... I don't know what I'm gonna do, if I check it I might panic, but I'm probably gonna panic regardless Ah yes some Unis do that! I'm going to need a miracle!

It's going to go so fast!
I'm probably going to check UCAS before from what SH0405 said! Good luck!

Aww no sorry to hear that, as much as I loved psychology I am glad to be finally rid of it. Oh yeah that sounds like a good idea, I was considering that too. Can honestly say I've never heard of that university but I just looked it up and it seems quite nice, you're brave to want to be a teacher tho.
I'm glad to be finished with all of my subjects too tbh, but I did enjoy them It is quite a good idea Ah the university is lovely! It doesn't surprise me though, it's quite a small university, so it's a lot more homely Thank you! But I've wanted to be a teacher since I was in year Six anyhoo, and my choice of career hasn't changed since then :dancing2:

Does anyone else hate hearing I hope you get the grades you deserve or worked for, cause you know all too well you started rewatching a tv show or anime halfway during the exam season

I remember during my exam season for A-Levels two years ago, there was a notice outside the exam room that said something like:

"Good luck! We hope you get the grades that you want (not just the grades that you worked for)"

To this day, I don't know if that made me feel better or worse.

I hate it! I want the grades I need for uni, not the grades I "worked for" since I always could have worked harder...

I barely did any revision during exams  the only way I can really revise is past papers because mind maps, re-reading notes and stuff don't work for me... Only past papers and teaching others and there aren't any past papers in uni :bawling: at least we have January exams again...

The thing that really scares me is it's only 9 days until grade boundaries are released. I keep telling myself not to look at them but it's inevitable that I'll give in...

At least with Uni Results, my tutor whatsapped me to tell me how I'd done before results were actually released

They can do that?! There isn't still the whole "teacher-student inappropriate relationship" type stuff at uni?

I think I'll check too, although not too sure if it will be helpful as I have no idea how I've done.

It's only 3 days and UCAS have our grades. The exam boards already have them now...
It would be nice if I was good with a computer and had hacking skills

I spend the whole of the day they're released analyzing them, guessing what I got and discussing them with other people. My poor boyfriend doesn't want to know his grade boundaries (but I'm looking at them and just not telling him what they are) and I doubt he wants to hear about mine but he will...
