Oh same! Not Physics mock though, just topic test... Electricity has put so many of my friends off choosing Physics in the Sixth Form
Yes, electricity is quite tedious... got to love two lessons dedicated to plugs And ahhh very few are considering sciences at my school, except the budding scientists who take all 3 and maths! (A-levels)

Ahh okay. I would have to move to a different school to do IB; but I think I would like to change and my current school is equally far away! By any chance do you go to school in Kent?

WOW, your IB subjects sound very challenging but great all the same. Thank you very much for your advice - I think I have decided on IB now

Thanks for the insight on Media Studies. If i'm honest, I was looking at it to be a bit of a doss subject which probably wasn't the best idea to start with ... I agree that philosophy seems to have a lot more credibility.
Ah no, I'm a Londoner I'm afraid ... Yeah, I know I've probably chosen the three hardest HLs to do (bar the arts), but I love them so much, I'm so happy with them
I think the IB will be really good for you- but since I'm obviously biased, maybe you should talk to someone slightly more objective before you make any final decisions... The only real difference between A Levels and IB in your case though is that you study maths and chemistry with IB, which isn't really gonna hurt uni-application-wise... And your Highers are perfectly respectable whilst being manageable, so you know, win-win... The other thing is that you will only have to take exams at the end of two years, instead of having to do an AS in Spanish in Y12.

Do you have any idea what you might want to study at uni? That's another thing to bear in mind.

    Jealous.
The concept sounds cooler than it actually is .
I don't board but the thought of spending 24/7 with my friends is urgh. I need me-time. Though I guess it makes for really strong friendships and if you ever need something, there will be someone around to help.
I guess that's true I would hate spending all that time with my friends too tbh!

Well, my dream is to be in the music industry whether it be as a musician or as a producer or even a label owner but the music industry is sooooo hard so I have to have a back-up plan and I've always been pretty good at science and it does really interest me so yeah if I haven't made a break through by uni time i'll definitely be doing either medicine or biomedicine depending.

Your options are really varied, what are your aspirations?

I want to study experimental psychology- most universities require two of Maths, Chemistry, Physics and Biology, so I should hopefully be fine...
I don't want to study ecology for two years, and I love physics. And then I'm going to be a writer. I have academic commitment issues.

    Nope... just a coward.

Talk to medics and biomedics on TSR. Biomedicine sounds interesting (but not my thing)- medicine isn't for the faint -hearted though, and if you want to do it I recommend you start looking for work experience about now...

How difficult is Spanish at A-level, I do french and spanish at Gcse but at Gcse the listening and reading isn't complex and speaking and writing is memorised. I only started french at the start of year 10 and I'm getting B's but the fluency of spanish at a-level seems difficult.. and my other subjects i might choose with Spanish are further maths, maths, physics, chemistry or economics so would spanish be too time-consuming

    A pillow or a blanket?
A brain? (because of your subconscious?)
Clouds and mist? (not really objects but still)

    Does this help at all?

It's all subjective. Paint a candle, say authoritatively how it symbolises the ethereality of dreams or some bull****, and they'll believe you.
