Arsey is an OG
He uploads maths papers with worked solutions, should be up in a few hours.

another one makes a rookie error, tut tut.
Pretty sure it's right. ln(0.5)/-40 = ln(2)/40, which is what I got

very easy paper, expect very high grade boundaries.

won't even be surprised if its 73 for A*/90UMS.

I predict:

75 -100
73 -90
70 -80
I think you'd be surprised how tricky some people found some of that. Never have I ever seen a grade boundary that high for a maths exam, I think you're a little off there.

its ln(2)/40 please refer back to simple logarithmic core 2 knowledge before you attempt core 3.

That's because you need 270/300 from c3 c4 and fp2 for an A*. That's for further, I don't know about the rest
C3 and c4 don't count towards further they're solely maths units

I predict:
75-100
71-90
66- 80
61- 70

Much easier than previous years. Basically if you make a silly mistake then no 90% for you!

DId you get - ln0.5/40 for the exponentials question?
It asked for integers so I got ln2/40 I think

It said to use trig identities so I'm not sure if that would get marks. I suppose SOHCAHTOA is an identity though...
Annoying i made that mistake cause i was rushing as it was the last minute available

I got k<-2root5 and k>2root5 as it is above and below the max and min point
yh it was -4e^-4<=g(x)<=1/8e
fx is increasing
other than that seems right
For k i found the quadratic, and then use b square -4ac <0 ??? Iss that too much

Nope it was 2
I got 2 as well, but I think it was 4. Because you shouldn't just divide by cosx, you're supposed to factorise so there would be cosx=0 aswell which would give another 2 results
