I don't think it'll be as close as the polls predict. People tend to return to their usual voting habits on the day of an election.
Still don't think the Tories will be 2nd? I did say it could happen- it has.

Fantastic victory for the SNP, can't see Labour making a come back for 2020 in Scotland.

Just grabbed the papers before going to get more booze and if Khan only just wins mayor the Tories will challenge the results due to the Barnet cockpit according to the telegraph.

So local election wise it looks a lot better than some, including myself, feared, gained 36 and lost 43, I thought it would be looking much worse no matter what the party leadership looked like. Also had our Mayoral candidate in Liverpool reelected which is positive, now just for the London Assembly and London Mayor results to start coming in from around 4PM I believe, just a shame I couldn't be at the count, I was promised a spot, but then told last minute it wasn't happening sadly.

Aye unsurprising. Labour not nationalist enough for nationalists and not unionist enough for Unionists. Going to take years and years to recover if they do at all.

I do like Ruth Davidson and prefer Scottish Tories to the SNP.

It's clear though that the SNP are the biggest frauds out there. For years they accused labour of selling out by being red Tories, ed milliband was just thatcher apparently. Now they get a leader to the left of the SNP and they moan he's too left wing.

The SNP: the party that declare a failing NHS and education system, and a massive deficit a success.

They're not a social Democratic Party at all. They're shameless opportunists.

Wales looks better for labour, holding onto 29 of its 30 seats.

My teacher texted my mother threatening to withdraw me from the exams for failing to attend two classes, there are students who haven't been in for two months who aren't getting this kind of treatment, it just makes me want to not attend her lessons.

That teacher sounds like they have a stinking attitude. By the sounds of it, you would probably learn more by not turning up anyway.

Do you actually know what working on an ad hoc basis or a supply and confidence arrangement are?

Interesting seeing the labour spin on the night is gains over last hear, even though that's irrelevant and vs 2012, losses, is relevant

SNP wouldn't need Labour. They're two off a majority. Probably won't even need the Greens as it's unlikely that every single MSP will vote against the Scottish government
