Disappointed with English (4 ums off an A grrr) but definitely some dodgy marking going on at AQA considering my low C in LITA3 was one of the highest in my year, hey ho UCL accepted me nonetheless for history even though i missed my AAA offer!

Quite pleased with the results. However, I didn't get the UMS I wanted to get, primarily because I became lazy during the exam period.

    Comments and reactions

I was really happy with Maths but other subjects...not so much but thank god for AS's as it is a reality check for the future. I am remarking Chemistry so I might get it up to a D and repeat Unit 2 and get a C overall. Going to do the same for Biology so I can get it up to a B overall. I am going to resit Music Unit 2 and try and get it up to an A. Going to drop Chemistry and not study it for A2.

I'm thrilled, mainly because I can keep my options open now in terms of which universities I want to apply for, but also because although I love sciences I've always been much weaker at them than humanities so I'm quite stunned to have done a lot better than I thought I would at the start of AS year!
