May i ask why lotsofsnail's bill was submitted as a PMB? Was the party divided on it or did you not want the tories using it against you in the election?
Well I suppose abortion is an issue of personal conscience, one of particular interest/concern for me personally. The original abortion act was a PMB too.

I agree. I hope no party will whip a bill on abortion, its too emotive an issue. I wish there was a way to make it a private poll.

I don't think it should be whipped, but I also don't think it should be private. People should know how the MPs of the party they vote for voted on this if they want to...

I do see that point. My thoughts on wishing it to be private would simply be to discourage whips. Anyway, not posible.

We are not going to use it against the Labour party cos we have bigger fish to fry i.e. the Socialist party. Our manifesto wont be a direct attack on anyone, it will be a description of our ideology followed by why u should vote for TSR Tories.

They just seem to be getting even worse than the tories. It wasnt a slur against a tsr party, its just that every time there is a new labour policy atm its terrible.

    No.
Exactly what labour policy do you support? You seem to oppose a lot of labour policy.

Maybe they're old labour (), who'd disagree with most new labour policy.

How can you conclude that from asking me two questions about rather specific plans of the rl Government...
