I saw the one I got from Liverpool about 2 hours before the email came.

Well done on getting an offer
Seriously?! If I wasn't procrastinating in the library today I wouldn't have known until an hour ago when they finally sent me a message

Thank you, and well done to you too! :woo: will it be your firm choice do you reckon?

Oooooh my god! You didn't tell me you got an offer, well done!

It's not your first choice though, right? Is it still Nottingham?
Warwick certainly is my first choice!!! (Well, when I get rejected from Oxford lol)

UCL would have been my other first choice, but I've decided I can't afford to study in London. Nottingham or Bristol will be my insurance - currently swaying towards Notts for that though

Yeah, I went on to check what I would need to do if I had to add an extra resit and then found an offer, the email came 2 hours later.

Thank you, it'll probably be insurance as I've got one from Sheffield to. :woo:

    Will Cardiff be your firm?

Does anyone think there's a particular time of day when you're more likely to be made an offer?

No, there is not. There's not even a point in trying to second guess it because you'll most likely be wrong haha. The admissions tutors will go through it when they have the time.

Don't worry, they'll get back to you soon (unless the unis you've chosen are the ones that have specified that they look at no applications until every application has come in!)

Do I actually have to go to the Visit Day, or I am still likely to get the offer if I don't go?

You have to go, there'll be a mini interview/group discussion aspect. If you can't make it, you'll need to contact the university to explain why.

Unless you've got a really good reason for not going, you should. For one thing if this uni might turn out to be your firm or insurance, you will have to go at some point anyway. You could ring them and ask whether they would still consider you for an offer if you don't attend, but making your excuses doesn't give the best of impressions.

I applied last week to Anatomy at Glasgow as my fifth choice after applying to four medical schools. Two days ago, I received an unconditional for this.

Not really, maybe do some reading about CS/Maths areas that interest you? It's not a hugely formal interview from the looks of things.
