Tbh I don't think we can ignore how poor Chelsea have been for a while now.

6 losses in 11 league games.. the icing on the cake from this game will be Mourinho getting sacked and Costa getting another 3 game ban for that kick at Skrtel.
No of course not but at the same time it would be unfair to take anything away from our performance.

Chelsea were terrible but our pressing was exceptional and we did our absolute best with what we had. We had to overcome a sucker punch right at the start of the match.

Regardless of how poor form Chelsea were in, they were still playing against a rival team. Sometimes in those games form just goes out the window. Chelsea have vastly superior players to us so even if they're playing badly, it's still huge to beat them.

Klopp's first PL victory and what a big one

I don't think Liverpool were that great tbh, our midfield was pants, kept fouling all over the pitch and Lucas lucky not to get sent off. Chelsea were really poor, I hope it doesn't paper over the cracks we have, still a lot of work to do.

Benteke never managed to beat Chelsea with us though he did score against them a couple of times. Hope he can be on the winning side this time.

3-1 Liverpool, Benteke x 2 and Coutinho to score
    Disgustingly close.

Lucas should've been off. Can was pushing his luck.
A lot of needless fouls and a team like City would've destroyed us in midfield.
However the pressing was exceptional and all 3 goals were real quality.

He's simply not been good enough this season, you can't just make excuses for continued failings, as well as his continued failure to even recognise his own faults. It was the same at Madrid, his mindgames, ****ing with players he didn't like and eventually losing the dressing room.
He hasn't been helped by key players being out of form and the ****e transfer window we had which the board have acknowledged themselves.

Madrid situation was different, he openly had players going against him whereas we've been unlucky on numerous ocasions this year. Against City Fernandinho and Toure should have both been sent off, an equaliser a cm away and a goal disallowed against west ham, Lucas should have been sent off today as could Can, and 3 deflected goals

Some of these i'll acknowledge are a consequence of his actions in the media, Clattenberg clearly had something against Mikel, but our transition play on the counter today was absolutely tragic.

Imagine blaming today on deflected goals and Liverpool players not being sent off.

Chelsea need to sell half their team imo. It is not actually Jose, it is the key players who are exercising player power after falling out with him. Looks like it is a choice between keeping Jose and the likes of Hazard/Matic.

Always helps when the ref wants to keep your players on the pitch 2/3 warnings after giving them a yellow.

Last time we came from behind to beat a 'top team' away from home in the league was 4-1 win v Manchester United in 2008/09. I'd love to keep my feet on the ground but I'm so happy now haha! It's the performance we've been waiting for under Klopp, feel like our season has finally started!

Playing RB at LB, CB at RB, asking your wingers to play as full backs and striker to play as CDM.
Being outplayed and parking the bus at home and not having a single shot for 70 minutes after scoring.
If Mourinho is not to blame then who else is? He is the catalyst for all this negativity with his decisions.

As soon as Coutinho got the first I was thinking about your prediction. Benteke was a dead cert for a goal as far as I'm concerned, we got some great crosses in, in the first half, and if he'd been on the end of them we'd have scored.
