The English lit grade was quite eye opening. I done AQA English lit B: othello, death of a salesman, gatsby and Keats. Anyone else do this spec?

Got a C in Unit 1 of politics and an A in unit 2. Expected to do better in the second unit, the first was horrendous I thought.

    Maths- A
    Music- B
I'm getting one of the units remarked in music because I got an E and I was meant to get an A in that.
Can anyone explain what a 'script' is because the school gave everyone a sheet with all the post exam services, prices and deadlines and I don't understand what 'Original Script' and 'Photocopy of Script' is and why the photocopy is more expensive than the original.

Maths and Further Maths Modules (Edexcel):
    C1 - 100 UMS
    C2 - 97 UMS
    C3 - 98 UMS
    C4 - 79 UMS
    FP1 - 94 UMS
    M1 - 98 UMS
    Physics (Internal Exam): A
    Chemistry (Internal Exam): A

    Comments and reactions
Very happy, although I have ordered a script of my C4 because I'm not sure what went wrong. My school is weird so if we do maths and further maths we sit C3 and C4 early so that we can resit them next year if we need to. If I get the script and it turns out I just messed up my C4 I'll just resit.

    Future ambitions
I would like to study natural sciences (Physical) at Cambridge but I know that it is very difficult to get in. I'm unsure about whether my C4 has messed up my chances.

    Biology: B (1 mark off A)

I'm slightly disappointed since I had been predicted all As and I was intending to apply to Cambridge. Unfortunately, my personal circumstances got in the way of that.

Is it worth a remark for Biology? I'd like a higher grade to help my uni applications, but since it is a reformed A level, the AS result will be discarded anyway.

I plan to apply for Modern Languages at Warwick

    Year 12 here!
AS Subjects - Economics, Physics, Maths
    A2 Subjects - Maths

    Predicted in September: (A)AAA
    Predicted in January: (A)AAB
    My Prediction in June: (A*)AAB
    Prediction Post Exams: (A*)AAC

    Actual Results: (A*)AAA
Torn between dropping physics or economics or not at all. I have enjoyed physics all year despite scraping an A whereas economics I haven't enjoyed but have comfortably got As. I am looking at Unis for maths and they require A in the third subject, what would I do?

    Comments and reactions
I am very pleased with my results. I was expecting a low grade for History (a C/D) because I didn't feel prepared (the History Dept. at my school did say that they felt that the AS Exam was crammed with too much information and weren't happy that the school forced every student to do all 4 AS Exams despite them not counting).

I was also worried about Politics as I had messed up with one question concerning the cabinet. It was a relief that I got an A because this was the only subject that counted towards next year. I can confidently say that I am continuing both History and Politics. As for Psychology, I expected an A. I was a tad bit disappointed since I was a few UMS off however, my teachers told us that there was no point sending them off for remarks as AS Levels didn't count towards next year.

Biology, oh boy. I didn't expect anything higher than a C. I wasn't prepared, I hated the subject and wanted to drop out earlier in the year but wasn't allowed to do so because I got a B in the mock. I'm not disappointed with the grade at all because, honestly, I didn't put too much effort into preparing than with my other subjects.

    Future ambitions
I plan on studying Law at Durham, Nottingham, Sheffield, York or Leicester.

Super happy because I've managed to achieve one grade higher than all of my predictions. After A2, I'm studying Icelandic and French at UCL.

How come most people on here seem to have A grades / high UMS for Maths? Is it an easy AS level?

    So...not so great today :/
    Predicted Grades are:
-Geography A (Been getting As all year, but got a D in my exam)
-Chemistry B (Doing okayish, but got a U in exam)

Generally, I'd say I do well. I do extra work and always do well in class. But exams...not so good.
Any tips guys? Really need to turn this around <3
