That man needs a kicking at times.

Wish he'd stop comparing it to China one minute, then Japan the next minute.

Barrichello ftw
think rubinho has about 3 more laps of glory...

What a race!!!

I think Hamilton's made a mistake putting the inters back on - he has such a lead that he could take the 10s a lap from the pack using the extreme wets and use it to go back onto inters when the rain stops. Grr. I can see this ending badly.

Poor nico! Rosbeef just hasn't had the luck this weekend. Or indeed this season, Oz excepted.

Can someone sum up number of spins/bins per driver? Would be a nice statistic...

The ferraris will be quite high, about 3-4 each.
as an average it's at least 1 or 2 per driver

Never mind my comment about going to extreme wets for Hamilton! Rain's stopped now and the sky looks blue as far as I can see so it should dry up enough for the inters to do their stuff. Shame there doesn't look like any chance for the dry tyres to come out for a bit of serious racing at the end.

Yeah, though with the pace barrichello is at, he may be able to pit and get out in 3rd? I dunno though ive not got the live timings up. He'll have to pit for Inters anyway.

The difference in the lap times is crazy, ten seconds in some cases, really showing the tyre differences but also driver ability I think.

serious racing?
this is racing, dealing with the conditions. Making good choices. driving with skill when you don't have the best tyres. This is difficult but brilliant racing

He's currently 15 seconds ahead of heidfeld and laing FAR quicker (8 secs last lap), so depends how far he can go on them.

Okay, yeah, bad choice of words.

Just checked the Met Office's weather forecast for Silverstone and it's rain until about 2000hrs tonight.
