I like this prediction hope it is this
It is never, ever going to be that low. The paper was not that bad. It was a lot easier compared to some other papers.

No, I'm not retarded. It was an easier exam compared to last year. My teachers agreed with me and a lot of people followed on with this view. I'm not saying I got an A in that paper, but I've definitely got around 60 marks, which will most likely be a B due to the easiness of this paper.
Well I believe it wasn't as hard as June 2013, quite a bit off
but it was definitely harder than last year
loads of people at my school couldn't do Q1
and a fair few people missed out Q9( the whole country maybe) which was around 8 marks

I reckon it'll be 58-A

Hmm, alright, I equated the derivative function to 0, then found three values of x. You think that'll give me a couple marks?
yea did you not state the range ?

Snap buddy!!
I got 51.8 and -25.6.. was it 4cos2theta + 2sin2theta? -25.6 subbed into that gives 1.000
actually wait I think I've confused myself with calculator values

For question 7 the range is -0.07326.. And 0.04598..
Correct me if I'm wrong

I've made so many stupid mistakes...*sigh*.. my worst case scenario is 58/75 going by this thread...
there goes my hopes and dreams of an A* in maths...just waiting for Arsey's markscheme to confirm this...

Apparently, according to someone, arsey said Edexcel examiners are told to mark every attempt. And carry the attempt that scored most marks.
whts that mean ? so i dont lose the marks ?

You only get two values for theta which are -25.3,51.8
And Alpha should be 26.57 because 26.56505118

68 HAS NEVER BEEN 100 UMS!

come on man lets not do this! lets compare this to june 13 i'd say similar boundaries
Well you're wrong, June 2013 was 64 for 100 UMS

I think the questions were worded weirdly, and it really forced you to find the clues. But once you did that, then the rest of the question was relatively straight forward. But each to their own I suppose, I'm hoping for a B overall anyway. Good luck with your result.

What happens if you cross out the right working out and answers and replace it with something wrong
Any chance there's a really nice examiner who still gives marks?!
Unlikely sorry.

However if you leave two solutions, they mark both and give you the highest mark.
