It's usually around this time that the best England player gets his metatarsal injury so that his three month layoff leaves him returning to fitness suspiciously close to the opening game of the World Cup.

    Rooney's time has come.

Nah, it's 6 weeks before that Rooney gets injured.

Yeah, Colbert is nail on head there.

I might park the bus now... and buy Chelsea/United/Arsenal defenders and one launch player (Bendtner) to try and close out the season with 6 clean sheets per week...

It's the best I can hope for, really.

Duff scores. Why the hell is this happening to me?!

What can men do against such reckless hate?!

City will never keep a clean sheet. Not a chance...

They're too suspect at the back.

Bobby Zamora and Scharner won't score the winning goal either.

My day will be total ****.

Need Spurs to concede to give my waste of 4 points on transferring in Bent even a miniscule ray of light. Or a Dawson injury/red card.

Spurs goal: It's offside - by two yards. I wonder how an assistant referee can not see that... Anyway, Spurs attack and Niko Kranjcar plays in Gareth Bale down the left - his cross is met by Jermain Defoe and diverted into the net. But it shouldn't count in a million, billion years.

    Bought the ref, Taylor.

All this means is that choosing Sorensen over Hart wasn't the epic fail it might have been.
