Kante-Pogba would have been goals.

Don't even need a 3 when you've got him doing a 2 man job in midfield.

Agreed

Could they have afforded Kante and Pogba, though? They'd have been paying £40m upwards for Kante.
:cookie:
Fellaini should be nowhere near starting XI too agree with Rk's midfield of Schnderlin, Herrera & Pogba.
Lol Fellaini was once again one of our best players
Fellaini can't do a job in a 2 man midfield though. Going forward he's good but can't defend for **** and gets bypassed.

Having 2 attack minded b2b isn't going to work against a half decent team.

Yeah in a big game, Fellaini and Pogba need someone behind them.
FOUR THREE THREE.

Someone get Mike Bassett in here
Well there were encouraging signs in the second half and im sure we'll bounce back against Watford next game.

Hoping Rashford gets a start. Hes so electric and when he came on, he certainly caused panic for the City defenders everytime he got the ball. Felt we deserved a draw tbh

I can't see anyone stopping city this season tbh, completely dominated especially in the first half. even thought we played better in the second were they ever really threatened by us? Yet everytime they broke I felt like they will score (De Bryune hitting post etc..)

Think we showed enough in the game to be confident that we can get second and follow city all the way however. Maybe next season eh?
Should've signed Mane... Mkhi and Depay are dud's ffs

Why are people talking about Fellani as if he should even be in the team? Did we not learn anything from the Moyes era? He's ****in ****
Said it before, will say it again: Pogba is a highlights player, has never dominated a big game.

Tbf, it's only me saying it. And tbf, he's offered a whole lot more then Herrera or Schneiderlin have at this club. Tbh, if we're going to play a two man midfield, it should be Basti and Pogba.

Basti (and Carrick) will only decline, wish it wasn't true.

Schnei & Pog needs to happen

Mane wanted to work with Klopp so there wasn't much United could do to sign him other than offer him a silly contract.
schneiderlin is a midtable player.
Dont worry, Jose will sort it out on the training ground.

Tactics didnt work today, but the man knows how to coach.

Tactics will be on point next time.

Getting dicked in the 1st half and then improving in the second was basically consistent throughout Mou's 2nd reign at Chelsea tbh. Get used to that.

Pogba confirmed eclipsing Torres as worst transfer in history.
Mourinho made two big calls (playing Mkhitaryan and Lingard who had their injury concerns pre-match) and got it badly wrong. Both guys struggled and looked lethargic and contributed towards a sluggish start that City took full advantage of. I thought it could be a bleak scoreline against us but we got minor moments and it resulted in Ibrahimovic's excellent finish. First 15mins in second half was what should have been the beginning in the first as Herrera had a good influence, Fellaini played well besides the standard elbow smashes, but it seemed most of the team tried in the second half but couldn't get that fluency that they could pepper Bravo endlessly besides aerial threats. Nice Mourinho took some responsibility but ultimately, those selections cost us. Early days yet but Guardiola, when he gets his first team fully fit, could stroll away with the league once Bravo is settled and injuries ease.
