I am sure you can put either Phosphorus or Sulfur for the first question. Is there anyone who can confirm it?

nope you cant it said in the question from Na to P which doesnt include S

It said that it ranged from elements Na-P

how many marks was that question worth? 3?
Also, any1 get the equations for Al to show amphoteric?

Spot on.

Wasn't R Cr(H2O)3(OH)3? If so then yes.

That's the proper way to do it :smile:

For working out detIa G i got vaIues from the previous questions but used the ones given incase i made any mistakes. It's fine to do this right?

Yeah! that's completely alright! don't worry
Was charecteristics of cobalt jus general transition netal properties? And how do you explain the ligand sub using thermodynamics

Thank uuuuu :smile:
For Q in the chromium chemistry I said NH3 not in excess and the gas produced was NH4+, do you think this could still be right?

using hcl and naoh plz

Al2O3 + 6 HCl --> 2 AlCl3 + 3 H20

Al2O3 + 2 NaOH + 3 H20 --> 2NaAl(OH)4
I just remembered that I drew the complex with the ethane-1,2-diamine ligands in pencil. Is that okay :/

Al203 + 6HCl -> 2AlCl3 + 3H20

3H2O + Al203 + 2NaOH -> 2NaAl(OH)4

I put phase boundaries at both ends of the representation of a cell like this example in the picture 😭😭 will I lose the marks for that question?

NH4+ isnt a gas. They were looking for CO2
Does anyone know whether they asked for the shape of the complex?

I forgot to draw the cobalt structure! How many marks would that be?

at most 3, likely just 2 marks.
