Went to my appointment (didn't chicken out :woo:). Was absolutely nerve-wracking. But she was lovely, said she's gonna refer me to the psychologist to discuss therapy options etc., and that she's going to send me a copy of what she wrote down today too. That's good. Also said I don't have to take medication if I'm not completely comfortable with it.

Also got my test mark back (the one I had a massive panic-attack-freak-out in a couple weeks back) - I got 70%. Super happy with that.

I hope everyone is okay. :hugs: to anybody who wants/needs them, inbox is open if anybody needs to chat.

Thanks. Slept for just over an hour and felt fairly terrible but exam went fairly well. I did know a lot of the answers so it just depends where they set the pass mark. It's expected to be around 70% so will just have to wait and see.
ah okay, well some sleep is better than none I guess, glad the exam went okay, hopefully you got the marks you needed!

Lol. Crisis team called up this morning and asked me how I was (and I said I wasn't good at all) and from that they said they aren't going to work with me and are discharging me. I didn't desperately want to work with them but I find it ridiculous that they would discharge someone without visiting them. Oh well.

However my girlfriend isn't happy and has told me she is going to take me to A&E later and demand that someone does something. No one can do anything. I don't care.

    Posted from TSR Mobile
:console: that sounds pretty useless of them :/ hopefully your girlfriend is taking good care of you! hopefully is something they can do at least!

Was impressed with myself if im honest, especially considering i was last weighed 6th December!!!!

Hopefully, she thinks the incidents over the past week were more anxiety based not pathological (i think thats the word she said)

I'm teaching pshe in school at the moment and it's a mental health unit. The pupils each have a mental illness or symptom to create a presentation about to inform pupils about what each one is and what you can do if it's happening to you or those around you. So far, so good. So there's 8 in total. Some are quite "safe"... OCD (except for the fact it triggers my OCD to talk about it), dementia and then others are not so safe so ED and other not so pleasant things.

I'll spoiler for really vague triggery stuff.

    Spoiler:
    Show
So the rule is that they cannot at all WHATSOEVER search for videos or images relating to some of the topics. Nothing triggery can be added to the presentations and the whole thing has to be completely positive. So I walked up behind one of my groups earlier (I'd purposely not given them this particular topic as they'd been begging for it because they thought it was a 'cool' one to do but another teacher gave into their whining (thus undermining me as a form tutor and a general teacher yet again but whatevs)) to find them on google images and youtube looking at the most graphic triggery stuff. I threw myself at the screen to cover it, gave them a warning and then they complained that they're not babies and that they can handle seeing things like that. Obviously I cannot but I couldn't tell them that so just had to be general in my warning to them.

And now my skin is back to crawling and my brain is in absolute overdrive thinking about what I saw. I knew it's a dangerous topic for me to be around but I didn't expect and/or prepare to be confronted with images so I feel a bit ambushed.

I just worry about my ability to teach if things like that could happen.

Hey all, I'd appreciate if people could share their experiences with CBT for anxiety. I'm sort of contemplating trying it. I'm not in a terrible place at the moment, but sometimes things get pretty miserable and if it will improve my life quality I think it's worth it.

    :jumphug: to all.

Horrible realisation today during school that I'm off Monday and Tuesday because of St Patrick's, and I've no schoolwork or studying to do cause I'm up to date with it all. That's not good cause it means I have one less thing to focus on so I won't going into crazy overthinking.
Also my brother is off, and recently he has turned into a right a-hole and he knows how to push my buttons, which is also not helpful.

So now I've stopped running about trying to revise for my exam and spend a few hours doing basically nothing starting to feel a bit down. Was vaguely hoping to go out and celebrate with the other medics I know but I don't know what they're doing and don't feel up to asking them what's going on. Have also started to worry that I've made a mistake staying here over Easter. I know I'll get more work done but I think it will get a bit lonely fairly quickly. Just feeling a bit fed up really that after spending a week feeling stressed about this exam but my mood holding (no motivation but I was mostly okay) then the source of all the anxiety has gone and just feel miserable. Seeing some people tomorrow evening so that should be good. I'm tempted to see if they're free tonight but I worry that it seems pathetic that I can't find people to socialise with. The circular logic there is truly some of my finest. Just feels like tonight's a bit of a let down since I told myself that after the exam I would have fun and enjoy it being over and instead it's like any other evening where people are doing stuff and I'm not.

    Meh feelings meh love.

A lot of my mates have said "tell her how you feel" and I will for sure. It's just trying to set up a time when we're both free and I can say it that's the issue. I want to say hi on FB and perhaps see if she's around, but I feel like I've done a little too many times and just yeah. Funny thing about love and feelings really (prior to relationships at least)! Half of you is in a state of positive hysteria and the other half is just over-analysing everything

I'm not asking her out/asking her to be in a relationship, I just want to say how I feel and see what happens...sounds so simple that

I have no real purpose for this post other than to unscramble the thoughts in my head

    Meh feelings meh love

Oh no they're not making sleep worse - I can't sleep without them! Its just they make me feel very sleepy/sedated and if I don't get a long sleep after taking it then I end up feeling absolutely dreadful. How are you doing? :hugs:
