# Mega A Level Maths Thread MK II Watch

1. Interesting that everyone thinks the C2 paper is easy - the people in my school were complaining about it being horrible (Which didn't sound unreasonable given how easy the recent ones have been), although I haven't seen the paper so can't judge for myself.
2. Lost three silly marks at the end.. rest is all fine
3. Some solutions to C2:

I found the last trig hard, other than that and a few stupid mistakes, it was okay
you should get two solutions one is postive and the other is negative x=72 and other things i think

They would too in mine, but that's the point.

I am the only Maths applicant in my school though. The closest is a group of Engineering applicants.
That is true and there's another Maths applicant, but even though he applied to Cambridge he wouldn't know how to do that question
6. Also the cubic equation the g(y) one, I got 1 and 0.37? Anyone else?

Amazing! great paper, I'm not sure about circles, I got PT=20
I got that as well
8. finally managed to start a new thread, site is making it really hard to start them... mainly due to muppets trying to discuss them early...

503 error, will get the upload through in a sec though
9. I'm surprised people found it easy, everyone I've spoken to it found it quite challenging!

trigonometric identities (equations)

for the bottom one i got 72, 144, 216, 288

it couldn't factorise, i put these back into the equations and got zero, so i hope they're right

How was it?
It was decent! I couldn't do one of the 'show that' trig questions!
Lool on the last question I was about to get stressed, then I realised it was really simple!!
I done the whole question after the lady said 'pens down' handwriting was awful but I could waste the marks! plus I was at the back!

At mine I had someone who usually gets an E saying he thinks he got an A and a B grade student saying they got an E
18. Lord Arsey,
