Btw the difference between Lewes Court Phase 1 and Phase 2 is just £18 per week.
Cheaper standard blocks are available than LC1 however

This is a good question. I'm thinking of American football and volleyball mainly, maybe even a anime/manga society. But tbh, once I get there and discover all the abstract societies out there i definitely think I'll have a gander.
I had a quick look at the student union website as it lists the societies on there that have registered for the past year at Sussex. Interesting to read through to see if there's any that I'll be making a bee line to!

Random question but as we all have offers but might not be studying the same things, has anyone thought about what societies they might be joining in Sept?
Might have some common interests come freshers!

Also I've decided to study social science (foundation) as it's more of an eclectic mix of what I want to study next year. So if anyone is going to the applicant day on the 23rd I'll be there!

    I never watched Star Trek.
I was brought up on Disney. I now have a very detailed knowledge of it... I'd be happy to accept challenges 😅
I also like Ghibli but have a lot more to learn about it.

This might be controversial but some star trek is a pile of poop XD
I've watched some ghibli and thought the animation was beautiful

I haven't yet selected firm or insurance.
Can I apply for accommodation before I select?
Am I too late to get my first/second choice?

You can only apply for accommodation for your firm choice so you do need to choose first.
Also the accommodation is only given out after results day so you are not too late
