I actually quite like the antiquated measurements we still use.

    There is still plenty of imperial measurements used, here are some;
    • Horses are measured in hands
    • Racecourses are measured in furlongs
    • Fields are measured in acres or hectares (metric) depending on what you are calculating.
    • Livestock auctions use guineas
    • Weight of people is measured in stone and pounds
    • Grain is measures in tonnes, tons, kg or 100 grain weight
    • Height of people is measures in feet and inches
    • Clothes are measures in inches
    • Golf courses are measured yards
    The list goes on.

Well being a trained farmer it is my specialty.

I think it is pretty cool, it adds history and just shows how old this country is.

What do you think of the new law, that farmers can shoot dogs that disturb their sheep?

That isn't a new law, that has always been the law.

It is my understanding that it has been lawful since the Dogs (Protect of Livestock) Act 1953 however was still used before the law came into power.

It is quite an obscure law which most people do not know, but then why would they?

I can imagine...what is your opinion of commercial farming? Do you prefer organic farms? Would ever want to be a farmer?

'Scousers have the worst accents' - That I kind of agree with, especially if it's really strong. Although I don't many people with a strong scouse accent and I live there. Mine is much more plain since I'm from outside of Liverpool.

Commercial farming (in the UK) is great, organic is gimmick to make stupid people pay more and not feasible if you want to be able to feed our growing population. Also it is a waste of time.

I couldn't be farmer, it is too much hard work for little return, I would rather be the land owner.

Remember when you left TSR? Before all this? You were gone seven years. Seven years I waited, hoping that you wouldn't come back. Every year, I took a holiday. I went to Florence, there's this cafe, on the banks of the Arno. Every fine evening, I'd sit there and order a Fernet Branca. I had this fantasy, that I would look across the tables and I'd see you there, with a wife and maybe a couple of kids. You wouldn't say anything to me, nor me to you. But we'd both know that you'd made it, that you were happy. I never wanted you to come back to TSR. I always knew there was nothing here for you, except pain and tragedy. And I wanted something more for you than that. I still do.
