Care to meet me with a flare so I can show you how wrong that statement is?
Okay, revise statement. Flares are dangerous in the same way that my computer is dangerous if I throw it at someone.

    Numerous ways
    - Leaving the EU
    - Cutting Foreign Aid completely and get rid of DFID

Cameron is a disgrace to this country. I think Corbyn summed up what has happened very well in a recent interview.

So what has he done, I assume Corbyn told you the exact opposite of the tax lawyers and tax accountants

    I agree.

Pity that Michael O'Leary's horse won. Hope the racecourse make him pay extra charges

Great, but why spend the money from those two things on something that could and should be done by employers (I say should, well should until we have a socialist economic system anyway)? Why not spend it on building new A&E departments? Or on resources for struggling schools?

Probably does race horses rather than other horses because of the smaller saddles, less excess baggage to pay for.

Well we could ? , the money saved could be invested in financing the NLW , Support for low income familes , infrastructure . There is more than 1 thing to spend money on

Yes, he is not a very nice man. I'm pleased for the trainer and rider though.

Kay_Winters It is still a removal of the free lunch staff on shift had, but when breaks are not very long, it is not possible to eat somewhere else, or consume a packed lunch.

That explains why John Lewis are not competitive on prices, the staff bonus was cut after the company posted poor financial results, the profits fell leading to 300 job losses, and a lower marker share than competitors.
That was all months before any implimentation of the NLW. It can't be explicitly linked.

If it was after announcement it can, the effects of an implementation or increase in minimum wage are felt from announcement through to implementation and for a long time after, it doesn't all happen in 1 second at midnight when implemented

I know that, but when Nigel was talking about the company in greater long term comparisons the wage wasn't increased yet. In this circumstance it could only be linked post-implimentation and once the business produces more accounts.
