1. Could anyone tell me how to do the quadratic equation question? I kind of messed it up.

I plotted the line at +2 instead of -2 and +6 instead of -6. So I think that'd get me 0/3.
For the simultaneous equation, I correctly plotted x+y = 6 but since my answer to part (a) was wrong, would I get just 1 mark or would I get more as it is dependent on the previous part and I did the method correctly?

Much appreciated. x
2. the last question said your answer must be in numbers in cm?
3. (Original post by 11ahf)
You had to divide 3.5 by 5, leaving you with 0.7x10^9 = 7x10^8.
aw cool

Q22 was 78 not 69
It was 69.

does anyone know what the question was for (I think) it was question 8. People have said the answer was 60? It's the question that was above the letter one.
yeah i think it was 60, it was 1/5 of 300

the last question said your answer must be in numbers in cm?
It must be in exact form which just means surds. It doesn't need to be an integer value.
7. What does everyone think they'll get?
8. How many marks was the x=6 and x=2 question??
9. The fractions i put 2 12/15

And 1 6/30

10. The question on what does the vector tell us about s, does anyone know how marks that was?
The question on what does the vector tell us about s, does anyone know how marks that was?

it was 2 marks

It was the question about how many L's would he expect to get in 300 spins (probability question)
13. Spoiler:
Show
(3.5x10^6) / (5x10^-3)

Another one:
y∞1÷x², find the values of x= 5,4 and 1

1) volume of a prism: 750cm3
Q??) probability: 0.95, 0.05, 0.7, 0.3
Q2) questionnaire, question doesn't specify time, ambiguous and also the options aren't specific enough "often" "sometimes" hard to interpret
Q??) 36%- rent increase
Q??) circle theorem: angle 69 degrees
Q??) not enough tiles, 7.5 litres, needs 10
Q??) inverse proportion: 100, 25, 4
Q??) circle in a square- 100-25 pie
Q??)11 female teachers
Q??) box plot distribution: comment on mean, range, interquartile range with numerical comparisons
Q??) 90 teachers
Q??) estimate L, in sample of 300, round 80 to 100, 16 to 20, so estimate of 60
Q??) powers/indices, add the powers when multiplying two numbers, take away powers when dividing, and if in a bracket, multiply those powers
Q??) vectors, a) a+b, b) 3b-a, c) 3/4 a + 3/4b (can't remember whether + or -)
Q??) factorise n2 -7n = n(7-n)
How did you get 69 for the circle thereom
15. it was 69
16. The correct answer for the last one is (3-root 6) /12

Would i lose a mark if i put 1/4 - (root 6)/12

Hi guys, for the last question about the triangles, I think i forgot to half the area for one of the triangles. Foolish me, so now i got the same answer as everyone else except at the bottom I have 6 instead of 12. Can I still get around 2 marks for that?
I got the same- I think we might get method marks but that's it😭
19. (Original post by 11ahf)
Don't worry, you'll probably still get 2 marks out of the 3. :P And it's much better than most people managed to get in that question.
Yea hopefully thanks
I read -1.6 and 4.6 😪. Do I get 0 or is there range?
Theres definitely a range
