    I found that hard. 58 for an A would make me a very happy bunny. I swear I read somewhere that year-on-year 33.3% of people who sit the exam get a U...
    I read that 10% get under 7 marks or something. Maybe it was 7% get under 10 marks.

    Ah, when you put it like that it's seems pitiful

    About feeling like anything below an A is a failure, that probably occurred from expectations you personally inherited from tsr (even though, all round tsr teen geniuses represent, I'd say 5% of all students). In a way not completely your fault...

    But you cannot deny, is that you have control over what you post and what you may call naive or even nice is perceived as bragging in it's rawest form.

    Furthermore, on a pre-results GCSE thread it isn't the wisest thing to reveal, right?

    I don't believe you're a mean person but I believe it's your responsibility to control what you post and the same applies for every person
    These naive and nice posts weren't bragging though, these were from like 2 years a go but now I'm obsessed with bragging and being slightly arrogant.I see GCSEs as a competition that I must try my best to win.;

    I bet you any money that I'm in that 33.3% - I'm pretty sure I didn't answer enough marks to get even an E!!

    I'll be one of the 33.3% then! I found it so hard. I'll be surprised if I even got 20 marks, to be honest. In my defence, we only really started learning the subject in February - we'd done some minor stuff before that but it was no way near as difficult as the stuff we learnt from February onwards. I also had to attend after school sessions for Product Design and Systems to work on my projects so I couldn't go to the Maths sessions... Bit disappointing really but it's not really a mandatory qualification. I'll try and make up the UCAS points by trying to get Grade 7 piano with at least a Merit by the end of Sixth Form (currently at Grade 6, I think I just got a Pass though) and by using my free periods studying AS Maths more than other subjects.

    Simply put though, I'll be very happy if I even get an E in Additional Maths!
