I have my doubts as to whether they're really sports though.
Hey F1 is ****ing amazing, likewise UFC and Boxing, the physical requirements are immense! They're sports.

Also Aph, shut up.

Why? So long as you are a fairly competent swimmer you're fine. You don't need to be Rebecca Adlington, you can then focus on something else.

But when only 44% of people in the UK know how to swim basically, I mean we are an island nation but for most of us any more water then a baths depth is a death trap!!!

Well personally I'd call chess a sport.

I can't swim. I had swimming lessons for years when in primary school, and the teachers tried everything, including just throwing me in... but I just sink.

what about blood sport? And racecar driving? Neither are that physical.
Um, wow, now that's just an absolute lie, please research before you say some untrue comments.
Racecar driving requires some of the most physical bodies of any sports, at the high level.
And blood sports, whilst I don't agree with them at all, not all of them are sitting on a couch activity.

You got thrown in I just refused flatly to go near the pool! Although I can swim if I want/need to, school swimming was to be avoided. AT. ALL. COSTS.

Think about the amount of G-Force acting upon a drivers body as they go round a bend at 120mph.

Then think about doing that for 2 hours.

Yep. And I just went BLUB blub blub... and they had to drag me back out.

Then in high school we went white water canoeing, down waterfalls and everything. And they'd given me a life jacket. Which they never told me I should inflate. That could have gone seriously wrong.

There hasnt been a death since 1994.

Not just the Doppler effect. The engines in general.

And the overtakes! Don't forget the overtakes!

you never respected me anyway... Anyway you only dislike me because you know I am right, that is why you have such a visceral reaction, I challenge everything you were taught to believe and it's hard to face the fact that everything that you were ever taught is wrong.

Haha, please do stop making me laugh!!!
I wasn't taught to believe anything. All my views that I express are my own views, and in fact, would probably surprise my parents...
